It's crazy that all these news outlets are running the exact same wording for everything, down to claiming the equipment is still with the Police. I wouldn't be surprised if we see that, and it would end up being just another reason why you shouldn't swat people. On top of everything else, if you know that swatting someone you don't like is only going to benefit them in the long run by making thousands of dollars in pity bucks, why would you do it? On the other hand, this might lead to a problem where people fake being swatted or try to swat themselves for some easy cash (for all I know, this might already happen, but it'll probably be more frequent from now on).

I will, until the day I die say that if we live in a dystopian hell world where our worst fuck ups, mistakes, rumors, beliefs, et cetera are on for display, then that has to be a reality for everyone.
