He's almost smart enough to know that he'll get a new strike the instant he does. There's blood in the water and the trolls who are actively fucking with him are now bold enough to strike him, especially now that they've seen he's completely helpless. Wings isn't smart enough or sophisticated enough to fight back himself and he's not rich enough or well-connected enough to get someone competent to do it for him.

I called it earlier in the thread. They live week to week on donations. They’re in that much financial destitution. They couldn’t help themselves because they are that terrible with their money.

They bought a new car and then Kelly decided she wasn't going to drive it because of her self-diagnosed PTSD. They would actually have saved weeks of time and thousands of dollars by withdrawing $30,000 from the bank, piling it up in front of the modular mansion, dousing it in gasoline and lighting it on fire!
