the one thing I'd say regarding the numberfagging comparison stuff going on even though I think the pissing contest itself is stupid. I do think that it's a weird take to say they have separate viewer pools when we outright know there's overlap.

The people that were magging in Scarle's chat surely aren't from a "separate viewer pool" and plenty of folks reacted when Scarle's shown up in Mags chat as well.

Not saying this to feed into the talk of X good Y bad, just mean to say that he notion that the viewerbases don't overlap is an odd one to me. It reminds me of when people here try to pretend there's no overlap in userbase between here and /vt/ or when /vt/ or here try to pretend no one uses reddit.

It’s likely that cover also charges advertisers based on who they want to shill their product. If a company will pay Roboco 1000$ to advertise their game, they might have to pay Gura 5000$ Because their average concurrent viewers has a monetary value for Cover.

Like a hopeless normie, PC Gen 2 ads on youtube caught my eye and I tuned in. Cute PON wolf was adorable, but I was enamored by Shiina; and taken aback by her singing prowess. None of the others really spoke to me, so I just follow Shiina and Airi. Considering everything up until now, I hope PC is the place Shiina can thrive.

Thought it might be worth mentioning, Pomu followed Lia on twitter yesterday apparently so hard that I got a notification on my phone for some reason.

I checked Pomu's likes and there doesn't seem to be much that leads directly to Lia or Phase Connect, and Pomu doesn't follow that many random people like this. Maybe just word of mouth or a clip.

That's what my twitch follows look like too. Full of streamers that I think I'd like or get recommend but I just haven't gotten around to watching because there's just so many goddamn vtubers. On youtube it makes sense to be selective about who you follow because the subscription box can get clogged up, but on twitch you don't need to care that much because the layout is more about what people are doing right now. It's like the guide button on a TV remote.
