I just want to say that it isn't like Chris is just getting away with this. I don't know why everyone is acting like that.

He still spent a year in jail, which is the worst consequence he has ever faced for his actions. He also had his identity and actions broadcast to the general public and is most likely going to have a very difficult time continuing his normal pre-jail existence.

He is still going to be on probation, and it will probably actually be taken seriously. Before Chris violated his probation and nothing happened. If he violates this one, he'll probably be right back in jail.

Stop acting like Chris is getting away totally scot free.
He won't be able to attend any conventions ever again, Patreon has banned him, he's no longer going to have people approach him on the street for selfies, he's probably now banned from most establishments in his city and he basically lost any amount of goodwill he's ever had with normies. The only people that will be willing to associate with him from now on are weens and enablers, everyone that contacts him from now on will be trying to fuck him over in some way, and there won't be anybody around to stop the next Bella or Idea Guys anymore.

Even if he gets out, there's no way that he will be able to return to his previous life. I fully expect that some sickos will take the opportunity to control every facet of his life once again, Idea Guys style, but this time nobody will really give a shit.

Been trying to keep up with the Chris threads with limited success, so sorry if this has already been discussed -

I’ve seen lots of discussion about Chris going to a ‘tard home’; a more or less restrictive group home situation. Is there any reason to dismiss the possibility that Chris could be headed for a long-term psychiatric facility? It’s a more institutional, restricted option. It’s probably the worst option for us, as information will be a delayed trickle at best…but in reality, it’s probably the best option for Chris, who has proven he can’t function in society, and is very vulnerable to being harmed by his own ‘fanbase’. The beds in these places are hard to come by, but I thought that could be why the court pulled the ‘tard card - they can hold him a bit longer while they wait for a bed?

I’ve read an entire Chris wiki and have posted to a Chris forum for years. I didn’t even get jury pay to do it.

I think we can all relate to them saying “hold up.. this shits kinda fascinating. I’m gonna need more time”
Your honor, I know I'm not supposed to use my phone but I was so goddamn curious I couldn't help but google his name and there's apparently a whole wiki about him? Can I like, take a day off and get up to speed there's some crazy shit about a girl apparently named July? I'm gonna need like a week just to figure out what this liquid Chris stuff is about.

I could be wrong, but didn't I read somewhere that large amounts of legos and vidya were showing up in second hand stores around the area? As in, his toy hoard might have been sold off?
Unless we see something we've seen before on camera it'd be hard to confirm just based on kids toys pretty much any second hand place would have. I also doubt they would've done too much clean up, as we know Barb has threatened to kill herself over the hoard and even in her declining state I doubt she'd want to get rid of too much. Although if she was I don't know how much I believe she'd just donate it somewhere for free, from what I've seen of Barb over the years she doesn't strike me as someone who'd donate something just because it's not used and was owned by someone who fucked her over, she'd be more likely to sell them to pawn shops but even then she'd probably turn away when given a small valuation, and with all the paint and shit most of his games had on them I can guarantee you most wouldn't even try to look at them.

It's been over 2 days and we have no updates. No word on what the result of the 08/09 hearing was.
However, it seems like they wiped the Remarks from the Pleadings/Orders section, leaving us even more in the dark.

I guess the rumor was true and the judge has indeed put a lock on the records. RIP *sigh*

Yup, even if he's out on the streets by tomorrow, his life is irreversible changed for the worst forever. And this is a guy who couldn’t handle even minor changes and inconveniences in his life before.

I’d also add, thanks to him now claiming he’s sexual cartoon Jesus(lol and that whole mom raping thing), he’s pretty much shut the door on any church’s helping him out. Which is usually the last bastion of help for people that nobody else wants to deal with.

I also wonder how heavily the weens will swarm in. Of course there will always be a few that don’t care about being doxed like Ethan, but these days attaching yourself to Chris comes with a lot of additional, ugly baggage. Bella and the praetor fags now have their names eternally linked to Chris the rapist online. Only the worst of the worst degenerates will step forward now.

If Virginia legitimately believes that austists are so incapable of parsing right from wrong that they can't be held accountable for anything, then upon diagnosis they should immediately be permanently locked away for the benefit of society as a whole.
A gated community.

He got sent to one already - Western State hospital.

He got kicked out because he was so much trouble and moreover they needed his bed for somebody who was also mentally unwell but also was willing to cooperate with staff.

While it is true that Chris needs 24/7 handling because he just has a talent for constantly making bad decisions, he's a borderline case where he's just not dangerous enough to warrant throwing him into a cell and subsequently forgetting where the key is. It would require an involuntary hold sentencing him to permanent psychiatric care and Chris continually demonstrates enough borderline sanity that he'd never get an insanity plea to work. His future truly is only either prison once he pisses the law off enough times, or the crazy homeless guy on the street once 14BC ultimately gets repossessed by the bank.

Well, we're definitely not getting those updates anymore. But I am hoping like hell that we at least get to see when the next hearings are :optimistic: . I don't care what type of hearing, but it would be nice to know damn it.

None of the other hearing from 8/9 have status updates so there is still hope.

This is probably it.

To be frank, I don't think Heilberg feels much sympathy for Chris. Probably a little for his mental state, but not for much else, and not enough to put up with all his bullshit. Simply put, I don't think he's doing this out of the goodness of his heart. No, I think he's doing it out of boredom, and possibly for the challenge.

Think about it. He's already done all other mundane cases in his life, and is borderline retired at this point. He's also already incredibly renowned, and wealthy enough to take a case without getting paid. What else does he have to gain from this case besides what I mentioned above?

Nothing I can certainly think of. He most likely is just doing it for the thrill of it.
Maybe he is actually a lurking kiwifarmer and wants to part of Christory.

I would beg to differ. He spent his entire life living with his family, and his autism was considered severe enough to get social security disability payments. He had all of those things growing up, and, to an extent, still did even with Barb in her current state thanks to white knights and other various groups who checked in on him (or took advantage of him). I don't believe that Chris is functional enough to live in society at his current state. Could things have been different if he was raised differently, maybe, but I can't speculate that far back based on what can be gathered online.
that and there is so many people on SSI who are very mildly disabled or have relatively minor issues who in all honesty should not be receiving benefits. so its no shocker that no matter what chris's conditions are or are not, he'd get ssi bennies, i honestly would not be surprised if his parents pushed for it or worked the system and pulled a few strings: because they were notorious for paying and bribing people to basically coddle, enable and over all cater to chris . but yeah, he is not functional, hes very ill and needs full time supervision . that has been made more and more clear through the years .

After talking to a close friend whom is in law about the subject, and likely losing a lot of her respect in the process, she told me that this is a case where everyone outside of the defense has absolutely no idea what the fuck to do with Chris's case. Hence why they are actively trying to hold off, grant as many continuances as possible, and do the bare minimum to just at least keep Chris in a controlled environment. From Chris's autism, to his already surprisingly lengthy legal history, to his mother's condition, to Chris's mental health issues that span past his autism, to his internet infamy, to his lack of any extended family or assets or ability to care for himself if released. It is a massive headache with tons of legal loopholes in every aspect of the case. Hence why there is a possibility that Chris might get leniency just because they want to get this shit fucking over with.

A lot of shit happened.
Oj's lawyer also did a fucking great job of jury selection. Somehow getting almost all old black women. Getting permission to take them to " the scene of the crime" ; and planting bibles in every room of the house. Dude was crafty
It's funny - I saw the O.J. documentary, Made in America, and it has an old black woman being interviewed. In hindsight, she knew O.J. was guilty, but her verdict of not guilty was 'retribution' for what happened to Rodney King. Either the prosecution was fooled into letting that many black women on the jury, or they really thought "these jurors can make a just and fair verdict." I've been on jury selections, and I can tell you, the prosecution and the defense go back and forth eliminating people from the jury pool. The one thing they want from a juror is "can you serve objectively?"

If this goes to full trial, I doubt Heilberg can convince any jury the same way Cochran had. At least O.J. Didn't write letters pretending to be Jesus.

Jesus. Heilberg is not performing miracles. He is utilizing, or trying to, the available options. The autism deferral isn't an obscure "trick" he discovered in some cobwebbed corner of law. It is a two-year old statute that specifically addresses autism and intellectual disability. Heilberg has a client with autism and intellectual disability (and a while host of other legal and life troubles). It could not be a more obvious pathway to try to access.

And for those of you who refuse to understand, he doesn't have to like his client. He cannot change the quality of his services based in how much he likes a client or how much he is paid. He does have to do his best for his client. Usually that means getting as little punishment as legally possible (exhausting all avenues). In this case it may also mean a more wholistic solution for Chris that minimizes standard punishment and addresses certain other factors.

The requirement is ZEALOUS REPRESENTATION, not "impose your own moral and punishment-theory opinions on clients according to your whim.". Failure to do his job (like by not even attempting to utilize the shiny new statute that is made exactly for clients with conditions like Chris's) would be an ethical violation.

His mental condition has gotten worse since he has been in jail with his bidet and shitstained prayer rugs. How will prison magically cure him?
his conditions have gotten worse long before jail, its just te fact that we get to see it more '' up close'' because he has nothing better to do but right letters and sperging out, out of boredom to anyone he thinks will listen.

No someone spotted some listings on Ebay from the area with some lego bits (no sets not even partial sets just random brick assortments) and some games Chris has owned in the past nothing conclusive and I can see then getting binned especially if it's the relatives clearing the place and not barb who would sell it just for the money.

Don't get me wrong I'd like to know what happened to Chris's Toy horde and I'd like to know his reaction when it's been either binned or sold but we wont know anything like that for a while yet.

It isn't the job of the defense to convince the jury, it's the job of the prosecution.

If the defense can put so much as a reasonable doubt in the mind of a single juror, the case is over and the defense wins.

I think it would have been held up by Chris's competency hearings. The motion was probably filled out shortly after he was arrested, but couldn't be introduced or ruled on until it was decided whether or not to bring the charges to a GJ.
In all likelihood, the reason for the Western State visits was as much about a full evaluation of him, including autism and any comorbid intellectual or psychological conditions, in contemplation of requesting this deferred disposition, as it was about competency for trial evaluation.
