Gross Anna Johnson / The Fit Vegan Ginger / Creation Nutrition / Anna's Organics Lynchburg - Jesus Freak, orthorexic, creator of vegan food monstrosities, munches to avoid getting a job

Something I just thought of:

If she passes out, or grievously injuries herself -- say, at her gym -- wouldn't an ambulance be called? And if she's taken to emergency, wouldn't there be a chance that she'd be diagnosed as severely malnourished, fed via IV, and then sternly lectured by a REAL doctor to change her diet?

Absolutely, but she's legally an adult. Once they've stabilized her, she can sign herself out against medical advice. And if she's that deep in the hole of mental illness, no words, even those of an actual medical professional, are going to make any difference.

I'm just having lots of feels about this kid today. Maybe it's being snowed it that's caused this. Long, unneeded analysis ahead

I've been following TFVG for a long time now. In the beginning it was just casual, but I think she's become a pretty good case study for eating disorders. She get called anorexic all the time, but I think that she's more likely to be orthorexic.

-She's obsessed with health and fitness. She's writing a cookbook on it, so she obviously believes her diet is healthy, delicious, and nutritious. Never does she talk about weight loss or how to lose weight on her blog/'gram. It's all #fitfam and #strongnotskinny
-She has a ton of "unsafe" foods and even "allergies", like an anorexic. But she is definitely concerned about how they will affect her health and how she feels. Shit, there's anorexics that don't drink water because they think it'll make them fat. Health isn't a concern. It's all about weight.
-She must be consuming that food and food off screen. She's getting calories somewhere. I went through her instagram from the beginning when she was probably a good 110 pounds (fine for her 5'1 frame). I scrolled and she got skinnier and skinnier, her hair thinned, she face shrunk. However, this plateaued over a year ago. The clothes she wore then fit the same as now. She doesn't really look different.
-She's exercising obsessively. That's a big sign of orthorexia.
-She has convinced herself that she's getting adequate nutrients. This is pretty important in her whole diet (yet we know she's wrong)
-Anna isn't a complete imbecile. She knows that muscle puts on pounds, yet she's been working on her abs and arms. And her legs do look better than they did over a year ago (I'll find that horrifying picture soon).
-Weight loss can also be a symptom of orthorexia as well, intentional or not. The frame of mind, lifestyle and what she believes and fears really is going to be the deciding factor, but we aren't the ones to decide.

I could be completely wrong. Maybe she has both anorexia and orthorexia. This isn't uncommon.
This is just speculation based on research and evidence. I'm not pulling this out of my ass, haha. But maybe some of you have differing opinions. I'd like to hear them. I just think the health and fitness obsession, lack of weight gain, and fear of the symptoms of "unsafe' foods say a lot.
That being said, she's still a bitch.

If she's grievously injured, they perform necessary stabilization care and call next of kin, parents, partner, durable power of attorney. If she stays unable to consent to treatment, they decide for her. If she wakes up, she can refuse treatment. At that point, it becomes a legal battle to declare her mentally ill enough to strip her of her rights.

They won't do an IV feed in an ER. They absolutely won't. Too much of an infection risk.

i thought you'd have to be pretty obviously mentally ill or suicidal to get your rights stripped away though. i mean, yeah, she's nuts, but it's not like she's stricken with psychosis or schizophrenia. in her case i suppose it would depend on how hard she would resist treatment.

Most people with an eating disorder are actually found competent to make their own decisions by most measures. Just not medically. But getting a court to strip away their rights is generally drawn out, and forcing treatment tends to not endear someone to long-term treatment adherence.

oh yay. another obstacle in getting her the help she needs, on top of her receiving medical attention in the first place and potentially having her admit she's ill. joyous.

Hmm, I wonder who's the "GENIUS" behind Anna's "favorite insta account ❤️ @lilsipper @lilsipper @lilsipper @lilsipper"

#FITFAM, indeed.

It's not up to randos to get help for people who don't want it anyway.

i understand that but i meant it more as far as her actual loved ones go, like her family and the few friends she hasn't alienated yet. i know my wording made it a little ambiguous, but i'm definitely not up for playing the hero for her.

They're all retarded, too.

There's nothing we can do except garner whatever amusement this spectacle provides.

If the poisoning that mug cake gave me had gotten much worse I'd be wanting a chunk of that $10K.

When it comes to the dried-Play-Doh doughnuts...I might stay away from any of her recipes that contain protein powder in any future Kiwi Kitchen episodes. I'll need a bit more than ephemeral e-cred in return for taking on those buggers.

I would do the donuts thing as I am willing to take a hit for the team. However, I am not sure if I want to spend my food stamps on protein powders. I would be willing to try the veggie cinnamon cereal if I could find that recipe.

Anna makes me really angry because she has people in her life that would help her, but she blows them off. Here's a story that I wish this little asshole knew about:

I had a friend who was severely anorexic. We were facebook friends, but we talked all the time. She starts a recovery account on IG for her anorexia and tells me about her ED and just some terrible things. She tried so hard to get better, but medical issues that made it hard to eat triggered her. Her starting weight on there was 85 lbs, and dropped to 70 at 5'7. She's in terrible shape. Every bone and vein could be seen in her body. She would post photos of herself in her underwear to show how much she was losing and you could see her whole pelvis. And the sad thing was she didn't really have any real life friends, or even online pals. Her parents were tired of paying her copays to go to the hospital when she was sick and kicked this poor 19 year old off their insurance. She begs them to pay for her to go to inpatient because she's actually scared to die now. But they wouldn't. She found some sort of clinic that may be able to help her free but they turned her away and said that she basically wasn't crazy enough even though her BMI was at like 10 and her resting heart rate was 40. She was devastated. Two weeks later she begs and begs her parents to take her to the hospital (she didn't have a car) because she's peeing brown and some blood and in pain and they finally do. Kidney disease. She's hospitalized and posts some photos on IG about the ordeal, we text and I actually make plans to drive 6 hours to see her in a couple of days. The day before I was going to leave I check her IG because she didn't text me back and there's a picture of a black screen that says she hates her life and she's done living. I panic and call her ten times. About an hour after it was posted she deleted her IG, then her facebook. She wouldn't answer my texts or calls. I had no idea what to do. I never heard from her again. Her number no longer works. She doesn't use her tumblr anymore, but I use her ask to send her messages. I will probably never know what happened to my beautiful, but broken friend. And I will spend the rest of my life wondering if I could have done more. And any one of you that's had a friend die or disappear can understand how painful it is to wonder if you could have done something.

I wish Anna wouldn't treat eating disorders so callously. She has friends reaching out to her now and she's no longer talking to them. I guarantee her father and sis are concerned for her life. My friend had very little support and she was home schooled with no friends, so one could ask her a simple "hey, are you doing okay?". Her own family gave up.
Anna should be fucking grateful that she has people trying to help her before it's too late and she really sinks into despair because it's really hard to climb out of it.

I tried to google it but it seems she deleted this one! I have her picture for it, it's basically vegetables in almond milk with a heaping spoon of cinnamon and stevia.

OK it looks like she only has celery, carrots and cucumbers . I don't have the celery and I am not sure if I want to go and buy a bunch for this, well then again I can probably find some use for it. I have some frozen cubed carrots in the freezer that I can take out and thaw. Other wise I have pretty much everything. Including the cinnamon. So should I do this? If so, should I make a reaction video?

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Veggie Cereal; Vegan, Gluten-free. Serves one.
Ingredients
1. One medium/large zucchini, chopped
2. 5 oz. celery (about 4 large sticks), chopped
3. 1 medium carrot, grated and chopped (or 6 baby carrots)
4. 1/4-1/2 tsp cinnamon
5. 15 drops liquid stevia
6. 1 cup almond milk
Method
1. Add all your prepared veggies into a strainer and rinse briefly under cold water-just enough to get them wet. Drain but do not dry.
2. Place veggies in a large bowl and too with cinnamon and stevia. The cinnamon will stick to the veggies since they are wet (DROOOOOL). Use a spoon to toss yor lusciously cinnamon-coated "cereal".
3. Pour almond milk over and serve immediately.

Note: this is actually better than the original cinnamon toast crucb cereal, in my opinion! Plus-it's SUPER HEALTHY....AND it doesn't get soggy when you add the almond milk! SCORE!

A more fitting name would be vomit city. Namely because combining those flavors and adding that texture guarantees a purging.

Ok, I don't have any stevia and I have soy milk. I have cucumbers but I can see if I can buy a zucchini and maybe some celery. I'm going to try to go to the store and get them but it may not be the same as this one but you (and I) would get an idea of what it probably tastes like. I am not sure if I can substitute sugar for the stevia and how much.

EDIT: I just looked in my cupboard and I got some Truvia which is closer to stevia as it comes from the same source, however they are in powder form so I still don't know what the drops to teaspoon ratio is.
