Isn't that encouraging to her disorder?
Compliment her - her views are reinforced. Criticize her - she double's down. You can't really reason with people who have an eating disorder.

Isn't that encouraging to her disorder?
Something I just thought of:
If she passes out, or grievously injuries herself -- say, at her gym -- wouldn't an ambulance be called? And if she's taken to emergency, wouldn't there be a chance that she'd be diagnosed as severely malnourished, fed via IV, and then sternly lectured by a REAL doctor to change her diet?
If she's grievously injured, they perform necessary stabilization care and call next of kin, parents, partner, durable power of attorney. If she stays unable to consent to treatment, they decide for her. If she wakes up, she can refuse treatment. At that point, it becomes a legal battle to declare her mentally ill enough to strip her of her rights.Something I just thought of:

Most people with an eating disorder are actually found competent to make their own decisions by most measures. Just not medically. But getting a court to strip away their rights is generally drawn out, and forcing treatment tends to not endear someone to long-term treatment adherence.i thought you'd have to be pretty obviously mentally ill or suicidal to get your rights stripped away though. i mean, yeah, she's nuts, but it's not like she's stricken with psychosis or schizophrenia. in her case i suppose it would depend on how hard she would resist treatment.

oh yay. another obstacle in getting her the help she needs, on top of her receiving medical attention in the first place and potentially having her admit she's ill. joyous.
Hmm, I wonder who's the "GENIUS" behind Anna's "favorite insta account@lilsipper @lilsipper @lilsipper @lilsipper"
#FITFAM, indeed.
e: Oh fucking hell, @lilsipper.
It's not up to randos to get help for people who don't want it anyway.
i understand that but i meant it more as far as her actual loved ones go, like her family and the few friends she hasn't alienated yet. i know my wording made it a little ambiguous, but i'm definitely not up for playing the hero for her.
If the poisoning that mug cake gave me had gotten much worse I'd be wanting a chunk of that $10K.
When it comes to the dried-Play-Doh doughnuts...I might stay away from any of her recipes that contain protein powder in any future Kiwi Kitchen episodes. I'll need a bit more than ephemeral e-cred in return for taking on those buggers.
I would do the donuts thing as I am willing to take a hit for the team. However, I am not sure if I want to spend my food stamps on protein powders. I would be willing to try the veggie cinnamon cereal if I could find that recipe.
archive.is is a wonderful thing!I tried to google it but it seems she deleted this one! I have her picture for it, it's basically vegetables in almond milk with a heaping spoon of cinnamon and stevia.

A more fitting name would be vomit city. Namely because combining those flavors and adding that texture guarantees a purging.archive.is is a wonderful thing!

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Veggie Cereal; Vegan, Gluten-free. Serves one.
Ingredients
1. One medium/large zucchini, chopped
2. 5 oz. celery (about 4 large sticks), chopped
3. 1 medium carrot, grated and chopped (or 6 baby carrots)
4. 1/4-1/2 tsp cinnamon
5. 15 drops liquid stevia
6. 1 cup almond milk
Method
1. Add all your prepared veggies into a strainer and rinse briefly under cold water-just enough to get them wet. Drain but do not dry.
2. Place veggies in a large bowl and too with cinnamon and stevia. The cinnamon will stick to the veggies since they are wet (DROOOOOL). Use a spoon to toss yor lusciously cinnamon-coated "cereal".
3. Pour almond milk over and serve immediately.
Note: this is actually better than the original cinnamon toast crucb cereal, in my opinion! Plus-it's SUPER HEALTHY....AND it doesn't get soggy when you add the almond milk! SCORE!
