I know you've already discussed Kaela's past life here, but I just wanted to finally debunk the silent laugh meme.
Don't get me wrong, I like it as much as her other quirks, I'm just tired of seeing clips like "The closest we ever get to discovering Ela's full audible laugh".

Though it's still interesting why she decided to supress her natural laughs.. Maybe she's a bit shy about them? But I think there's nothing to hide here.

Has it 100% been proven this is her? Because her voice in that is pretty loud, fast, normal, high-pitched female voice, but Kaela's voice is slower, deeper, calm, and more sultry/sleepy sounding. Honestly from that video I'd never really connect her to Kaela, not even including the laugh.

IDK why most chuubas don't use the designs from their MVs for their new outfits.
Case in point is Reine, Kiara with the "Sparks" one, Gura with the "Q" suit, etc.

I remember Kiara talking about it in the past, the number of outfits they get is inherently limited (and for EN so far mostly group affairs).
So it seems kind of a waste to use it on something that you already have in a music video.

I can't tell you 100% how she does it, but it sounds like fans send her sound samples and she remixes them. She uses the alias 'DJ TAKAMiY' when she's doing music stuff, and even though these sets are somewhat rare, she's been doing them for 3 years now. She did her last one only 6 days ago.

If it's the first you've heard of her: She's Takamiya Rion, AKA 'Ojou', and one of the members of TRiNITY who were mentioned here yesterday (she's signed on with NBCUEJ). She's pretty cool if albeit a gachafag.

LASTLY, Sepiast (the genderswap group) released their first cover earlier today.

Imagine this is what you, as a parent, gets to come home to everyday.

That's when you send them to a group home, adopt a new kid, and give them the identity of the old one in hopes of it working out better this time around.

It's amazing how she's able to interact with people on the fly, without extensive editing. For example when she hugs the little girl and it actually looks like she has her arms wrapped around her.

Was she in a mo-cap room or was it just her normal set up with some extra controls? I'd be surprised if it was the latter as she has a lot of range of motion and that would be a good amount of programming, but I guess you could have set inputs that then map to objects that are in the field of view. The voice seems really detached though but that could just be lag and could indicate she's actually just narrating what she's seeing and the model behaves somewhat independently.

Really interesting tech though, especially for a small company.

Looking at their previous pitch videos, it does not require a full mo-cap setup, it uses real time tracking of the talent, they have a 2019 video showing them using real time hand tracking to manipulation an AR object. It might require two cameras to capture the full tracking required,. When Pippa was complaining about late night meetings before AR2022 on top of actual business meeting she may have been installing and fine tuning the hardware required by wonder's system with her existing rig, ontop of adjustning the rigging of the 3d model. It's also likely they had to install and fine tune the software and any hardware they used at the con.

It's a great addition to her other outfits, being more stylish and showy. Tentatively I'd rate it just behind her OG one, if not higher. I think it works well both with or without the jacket, but I prefer the latter because of the sleeveless+gloves combo. The way the booba is superimposed over the jacket may look weird but I think it's better than when the opposite happens and the jacket flattens what's under it. And of course the hair is perfect.

She said something during the reveal about wanting something more suited for karaokes and such, and it shows, reminds me of the "cool" outfits you see in idol games. According to Pochi, the text on the right of Reine means "many customers come constantly"+"luck will improve and happiness will come", basically Reine's "JOINDA" schtick in japanese proverb form. The text on her left reads "beware of the rampaging bird".

Even if I guessed wrong with the cat ears, I feel vindicated knowing that someone else though her silhouette looked like Fubuki.

Been deep diving through Shirara's old Twitter today, as I was having tons of problems loading up stuff earlier than April/May 2021. Found some fun stuff.
