For me it was undoubtful before (since voice timbre was very similar) and today some Indonesian commentators left even more proofs under the video.
Kaela has great range to her voice (she can even do a vibrato!), so I think it's easy for her to speak in a lower tone. Here's an example video:

In short, why it's basically proven:
- Similar voice and probably accent too (ID locals should be able to tell)
- Same game preferences (mainly LoL: WR) and favourite characters (Evelynn/Mundo/Velkoz)
- Stopped being active as Xyera few months before Hololive debut
- Privated her Instagram with 200k followers around the same time (but here's an archive for curious eyes)
- Privated all YouTube videos after info about Xyera was posted on Nyfco (and I think some schizo even SCed this name on her stream... as I was told)
- Stopped collabing with her former friends like Kurohiko; someone asked him about Kaela and he said he knows the person IRL and her name starts with X
- Tried streaming as a vtuber before. People allegedly asked her to try a deeper voice and she nailed it. Only one clip was left on her channel when I archived it and she doesn't use that voice there, but here's an excerpt still:

Banko's back and Bankier then ever! Her ambiguous accent seems a little stronger I that vid then in her streams. I guess it's because she wasn't singing songs and stuff in her normal streams she got $'d easier. I think all the others have been doing some singing throughout their streams and viewers love it but youtube doesn't. Remi has a stream for the 13th for membership opening, I hope it's all ready to go and not just wishful thinking. Shinna has super chat $ but not memberships. Airi has neither super chats or members open but seemed to think they would be by now. Hime has supers but not membership and Erina has neither.

Nintendo - Old Japanese company, popular with kids. Managed by out of touch middle aged higher-ups which is causing them to lose favor with the new generation
Playstation - most powerful console, the number one choice for the "real" gamers.
Xbox - popular choice for Westerners, not that popular anywhere else

Is it me or does it feel like gura is avoiding ame lately? ever since the offcollab, they felt distant. I think ame was supposed to join the impromptu rust collab between gura, mumei and fauna but didn't. There was a fortnite collab that supposedly included some of guras snot buddies if not for en Curse. Amesame panel at crunchyroll, who knows it may be mandated by management. Then gura coincidentally avoiding ame at rust today.

Went back and skimmed through Reine's outfit reveal. Yeah, the boobs look weird but only when she's got her jacket on imo. The fact that the jacket's edges are behind the sides of her breasts makes them look kind of disconnected, like they're hovering in front of her chest instead of being part of her body. It looked way better when she removed the jacket.

Other than that, yeah it's fine.

Toko and Nui's character voices actually do a pretty alright job at passing. If you told me it's Japanese guys singing and didn't know Niji, I'd probably believe their range especially, and could possibly believe the rest considering that singers like Piko exist.

Also it's the first time I might be able to catch a Koshien from start to finish, so I'll definitely try giving it a watch, especially with Elira's EN watchalong. It'd actually be cool if she did what Belmond did last year, just a comfy setup where multiple branches can shoot the shit and watch it together, whether like that or in the EN format.
