The art in Archie Sonic was really inconsistent at times. These are one comic apart btw

I always found her hair a little strange. And there was never a clear or easy answer in terms of what Knuckles' family could bring to the table. Probably because Ken was wasting everyone's time with his lazy "original characters."

The dude is a grifting bozo. He should just join a furry community, in which he can feel accepted and be himself.

Sorry to doublepost, but I don’t know how to properly add replies to something I already posted.

Anyway…
I agree. Then again, I don’t know what Ken is trying to do half the time. The Brotherhood just spout cryptic nonsense all the time, tell Knuckles he’s “not ready” to know about basically everything, and it all amounts to a bunch of old guys staring at a computer screen wondering if they should do anything to help him.
I don’t know why he decided to make Knuckles’ parents divorced, why his stepfather is a much better dad than his actual dad, or why he eventually gets a baby brother, or why Ken gives him a daughter to be a protagonist 20 years in the future.
What does it all mean? Why doesn’t it make any sense? Could anyone make sense of it?
Also, which “original” characters?
It’s only after writing all that that I realized I might have completely missed the point, but I’ll leave it up anyway.
