She's going to get out of the hospital and likely discover that her mom unwisely reached out to someone who had been Shannon's friend for 25 years, either not knowing they were fighting, or else falsely assuming that Chantal might be able to put that aside and support someone who has, in Chantal's words, always been there for her in the past. And then she's going to discover that instead of being sympathetic, Chantal spread this news all over YouTube (which Shannon had left months before and on which she never talked about her personal struggles to this degree) and FURTHERMORE made the whole thing about HERSELF and what a bad friend SHANNON was.

Shannon is a flawed individual and deserving of a lot of very valid criticism, but this ain't it. On the bright side, the possibility of Shannon beating the everloving shit out of Chantal is back on the table.

Edit: I guess Shannon did reach out to Gunt directly. I stand corrected on that point, but I still don't think she deserved this (or, spoilers, the texts that come out the day after this post).

I think this is just a manic dream of hers, perhaps spurred by her weak finances (she's really convinced herself two shitty apartments in a bad part of Montreal are cheaper than one decent townhouse in Orleans). Even if that were true, listen to what she's saying: She wants twin apartments for her and Peetz, preferably in the same building but definitely in the same neighborhood. She can have Peetz on-call but also have her own space, in which she can abandon her cats to travel whenever the fancy strikes her. While traveling, she'll eat a lot of food and get dozens of marriage proposals from bewitched brown men. She's not sure she just wants "sexperiences" though, she's looking for something real.

You just reminded me of a question I wanted to ask people who’ve been following her since before King Tut.

What the fuck does she spend all her money on? She is a hoarder with a lot of money. I know she was mostly spending it on drugs and Nader, but what stuff does she actually buy? She doesn't bathe or have hair so that rules out expensive cosmetics now she doesn't use the hair fibres. She doesn’t have any hobbies and she wears the same few garments, yet she is surrounded by garbage and permanently broke. I always assumed most of her money went to the fast food and because I never knew her before Nader, I thought the broke by payday thing was new. I underestimated how much money YouTubers make, I only started really using it during the pandemic lockdowns.
