It was her disgusting comment about FFG's dog for me. Hate FFG all you want, but to say "I don't give a shit about her dead dog" was beyond gross. Leave the poor dog out of it.
(She even makes fun of people's "ugly" dogs if they piss her off in her chat. WTF?) I know I have heard her say "You are probably just as ugly as your ugly dog!" more than once.
Coming from Chantal, who "went vegan" because she is such a huge animal lover. But admitted she will put her cat down when she is ready to travel so it won't be an inconvenience to her.
Nothing pisses people off more than animal abuse/neglect.

Honestly? The only thing that stuck out to me about the Shannon/Chins thing, and I'm surprised no one really mentioned it, is that Shannon must not have very many friends outside of Chantal. Because holy shit, why are you reaching out to her of all people in your time of need? Even Chins' own sister probably fucks off and vents to their mom or sister-friends when she needs to. Peetz I can understand because he's a socially inept loser whose literal only friend in the world is Chantal, but for a seemingly normal person like Shannon? That's fucking sad.

Let’s not forget that Cuntal often talks about how in the past she had a friend who was in an abusive relationship and Chantal said she thought she was stupid for staying and that she distanced herself from her. That friend was Shannon. Shannon’s own history in an abusive relationship is what made her make such an effort to try to save Chins from Nader (contacting Smee, confronting Nader) before Chinny blocked her resulting in Shannon going full Cornwall on her. So none of this really has to do with Chantal having hurt feefees. She is merely a bottomless pit of no value to anyone. Hell she couldn’t even be used to harvest organs for the more deserving of life at this point. As FFG pointed out if you can’t fuck or feed Chantal she has no use for you.

Peetz is only being offered the Montreal option because in the back of her psychopathic little mind Chins knows she gives Nader a bad case of the stabs and her sense of self preservation means she needs somewhere to flee to. It isn't that she didn't go see Shannon it is that she told the internet that she was suicidal and hospitalized after claiming they were on good terms and then started drama and insulted her...all while acting like she's a victim and "triggered". So she does both, she pretends she's a fucking "empath" and victim then behaves psychotically.
She doesn't own shit. She's as fake as they come. She just does it badly and is so socially inept that she doesn't realize she is as transparent as a piece of glass.

Shannon might very well have a lot of friends but Chantal is an old friend and that might have resonated more with her in terms of reaching out for help. That is what makes Chantal even more shitty. Childhood friends are different from adult friends.

Friend had a mental breakdown and wanted to go to sleep. Scottish scummy boyfriend did a one minute in-and-out on Chantal on the couch without even removing her underwear. Okay, we always think that surely Chantal cannot sink any further. Every time she does something like this, we always suppose or maybe hope we‘ve hit the absolute bottom of her utter terribleness. And we are always wrong. Goading a suicidal friend is absolutely lower than I expected her to sink.

Shannon is a rough-edged woman. For people who did not grow up extremely trailerpark-core, she may seem trashier than she is. I knew lots of women like her growing up. Though they are all individuals, they have some traits that are universal among them. Struggles with drug addiction, poor choice in men, at least one kid born during their teens, a quick temper that forgives just as quickly, and a tendency to hang on to the most awful friends out of loyalty or pity, even if it alienates them from better friends.
Shannon has by Chantal’s own stories been remarkably accepting of Chantal’s worst (but not evil) tendencies. She was the friend Chantal sent to ask those older brothers she stalked if they were into her or if she could come over to their place. They hadn’t been friends for long when that happened.
When Chantal inveigled her way into Shannon’s 2020 Dominican Republic vacation with her girlfriends that never happened due to Covid, Shannon was surprised that Chantal would want to travel with women she didn’t know well and to a destination that would require physical stamina. But Shannon knew that Chantal was in a bad place after being dumped by Bibi and told Chantal she could come. She may have known Chantal would flake on her, the way she did at Shannon’s NYE party but she accommodated Chantal anyway.
Even at the St. Patrick’s Day party, Shannon was kind to Chantal when others were clearly annoyed. We saw the same thing at Shannon’s bachelorette party.
Seriously, go watch the St Patrick’s Day video and look for Shannon. Shannon kindly introduced Chantal and consistently interacted with her. Chantal barreled in and was filming people before they had a chance to tell her to stop. She pestered people to sing for her subscribers. She made idiotic comments like “look at this sea of shoes, this party is lit AF” and then began to belt out ”Sea of Love.” She kept shouting how much one woman resembled Morticia Addams. Chantal even then was a liability socially. She was awkward, intrusive, loud, stupid and unable to read the room. Yet Shannon still invited her to her bachelorette party, where Chantal was so clearly irritating to Shannon’s other friends that you could hear it in their voices. She still invited Chantal to the NYE party. She was ready to let Chantal go to DR.
If I had been Shannon I would not have made a channel to set anything Chantal was telling about me because I wouldn’t have been tolerant enough of Chantal’s behavior to be friends with her in the first place. But Shannon and Chantal have a sort of kinship born from being girls who were sent to live apart from their families. Shannon was at one point in foster care. I suspect she thought Chantal was weird because of how she was raised and as a result cut her a lot of slack. And she was genuinely afraid for Chantal because you know she trauma dumped on Shannon, a dv victim herself.
Chantal pilloried Shannon, misrepresented what happened behind the scenes as Shannon tried to pull her out of the dangerous relationship. Shannon was hurt and angry when Chantal turned on her, and with good reason because she has been the sole person outside of Peetz to consistently be kind to Chantal. Years of just accepting and not judging Chantal’s many flaws, she was sacrificed to the altar of the green peen to the point that Chantal felt it was okay to drag Shannon’s daughter into the whole cocaine graduation party arc and destroy a mother-daughter relationship all because Shannon had made Nader mad and if Nader is mad, Chantal reacts.
And then after “forgiving“ Shannon, Chantal literally outed her as a resident inpatient for suicidal self-harm because she was so fucking inconvenienced by the prospect of placing a video call that she had to vilify Shannon so that she could pretend that Shannon hurt her far too much to give her a five minute call. That Shannon was already so emotionally vulnerable didn’t matter - she just had to get rid of an obligation and if her abuse pushed Shannon over the edge, oh well, not her problem.

The old friend thing, Chantal said they had made up and had spoken again since Shannon’s split from her ex and there was a comment about “being close by” so maybe she is in hospital in Ottawa?

She is in Ottawa - at “the General” - Frenchie confirmed in her selfie that she’s in Ottawa visiting Shannon and Shannon’s texts also imply she’s near - putting them both together I’m sure some farmer can work out which hospital if they are local and know the local names for hospitals.
Edit: Chantal is a shitty friend. She can drive to Montreal and back to stalk Nader and pick up random dudes but she can’t visit her friend in a psych ward in her city because “busy” and “triggering”. But we knew this.
