It may be possible to get an uncertified copy of the marriage cert. I couldn't get to the final stages with VitalCheck without attesting that I was a family member, but maybe I didn't use the right terms.

You do not need to swear to anything if you want an uncertified copy. Anyone can get this with the information we have in this thread, fifteen bucks, and the willingness to wait 20-25 business days.
EDIT: If you know his birth city and mother's maiden name, you can get a copy of the birth certificate, but you need to state the public purpose of wanting this information, and "want to have lolz" probably will not cut it.
