If I had to live my life over again, I would have moved to California and pursued modeling when I was in my late teens. it's funny because when I was younger, being so tall and flat chested made me feel awkward. Now I realize now how rare a gift it is. Also, I had my nose fixed which helped my looks immensely.

I'm going to cosplay Bayonetta at Worldcon this year which should be a blast! It's really freaky how much I look like her. My height and curves are the same, and our facial proportions are almost identical - except my forehead and chin are a little longer.

Too bad the only way to look for these records is to use the computers in the Public Search area in main office of the Office of the Clerk Recorder during regular business hours. They are seemingly located at:

East Wing, First floor
70 West Hedding Street

San Jose CA 95110

and are open

Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

It may be possible to get an uncertified copy of the marriage cert. I couldn't get to the final stages with VitalCheck without attesting that I was a family member, but maybe I didn't use the right terms.

You do not need to swear to anything if you want an uncertified copy. Anyone can get this with the information we have in this thread, fifteen bucks, and the willingness to wait 20-25 business days.

EDIT: If you know his birth city and mother's maiden name, you can get a copy of the birth certificate, but you need to state the public purpose of wanting this information, and "want to have lolz" probably will not cut it.

A good legitimate reason is to establish that they have properly represented themselves and if not, you intend to do an expose on said misrepresentation, or intend to turn this over to a journalist for followup.

Since the information in question would be important to establish whether someone has lied about their work or education history, and since such exposes of false representation are stories of public interest, that would be a legitimate avenue of journalism to pursue.
