/pol/ is simultaneously one of the best and the worst places to scoop info though tbh. It's like an organic schizo hivemind with crippling autism. Yeah you can see a lot of very retarded shit and have to use judgement. But I've seen shit on /pol/ I can't even explain.
Few examples?
Back before a certain happening in the UK there was a message posted where some schizoid had posted a multi tiered message going through binary code translations, pastebin links and another form of code which I forgot. But some of the other autists picked up on it and followed the crumb trail to discover - longitude and latitude of where the happening ended up taking place. Was it someone who knew of the plan and was trying to leak it? Was it one of the actors involved doing it? Never found out and haven't looked into it further because duh

Back in I want to say November of 2019 but definitely before January 2020 there were occasional threads I'd see late at night about strange shit going on in China. Not just the "people dropping dead in streets" vids that have since supposedly been debunked but discussions about doctors and civilians getting disappeared around Wuhan, some posters dismissed it some figured it was the black plague or some shit others thought it was political. Then coofmania hits.

There have been a lot of good threads about the disappearances in national parks, sex trafficking ops and more. It just takes committed autism to sift through and verify what's real and what's another autist/schizo just shitting into the virtual breeze.

It's because they need to interact with things.

A learning AI script is only as good as its ability to self-improve. They don't come with the capacity for discretion, nuance, or a capacity to understand irony. And if these people have their way, the only self-improvement they will give it is the ability to e-napalm their critics off the internet.

AI scripts (we're not looking at true AI of any kind yet; the technology is nowhere near there yet) can do some really cool shit for data interpolation, and for figuring out how people respond to things, but they need to actually interact with the public to develop that ability. This is the first hurdle censorbots fail at, because they can't develop in patterns where they can understand things better without interacting with the public. Moreover, the people running them most decidedly don't want the public finding out anything about the bots, because that would expose that they're bug-ridden shit that are filled-to-bursting with exploits.

It's doomed from the start.

But fuck I'm old don't remember the proper catchphrase response.

Once peeps are aware it's a bot or supposed AI, they will group torture it to satisfy their own whims and making it completely counter-productive. I can see that happening in a political bot. Teaching it to respond to "Trump is God" with "Biden is a cuck."
