I've been bouncing theories off Mrs. Beansoup about Chantal's "weight loss" even though she's bigger than ever. A reason for this may be her liver is on the way out, one of the symptoms of late stage NAFLD and cirrhosis is Abdomen swelling and even an enlarged spleen. It's difficult to tell any kind of skin or eye abnormalities because of her filters, but this also sites having enlarged blood vessels just under the skin which could account for the strange bruise-like webbing we saw on her arms a few pages back. As for the weight loss she's supposedly having, well that could be plain ol Diabetes. Either way she's an absolute mess and we may be nearing the end, shower me in rainbows.
