Gunt will never die. The only reason she's doing daily weigh-ins is because she knows she's losing weight from doing uppers again. It's obvious. Repeating cycles.

It isn’t ‘surprise’ that motivates these posts. I don’t think anybody who reads here is ‘surprised’, exactly by any of her abhorrent behaviour.
’Disgusted’? Yes. Perhaps even ‘vaguely horrified’ that any adult human wants to portray herself like this online.
Also, projection is a thing and that doesn’t only go for negative traits. If you were raised by parents who taught you how to treat people and how to generally go about things in the right way, it feels normal to expect that other people are going to behave in a similar, reasonable manner. They don’t, of course. Many people are horrible and the older you get, the more you see, the more jaded you become..but still it remains inside; that piece of you that wants to believe in the inherent good qualities of the human…then when they let you down it feels sad. Then you post about it.
On the same reasoning, it’s why it has been shown that most people move to the political right as they age. I was told “If you don’t vote towards the left when you are young, you have no heart. If you don’t swing towards the right when your older, you have no head.

She also said something about him reassuring her in texts that he would never avoid her on purpose (he just might not answer right away because of work, etc).

Peetz is indeed the only friend she's got left, and it's obviously not a deep friendship anymore. He talks at her, she dismisses him. They don't converse. Chantal probably isn't able to have a real conversation anymore, just respond to live chat comments.

On another note, the only good about these daily weigh-ins is that it's easier to track how many days she stays in one set of clothes. We know they all reek, but it's easier to gage the level of putridity now.

I have a theory, when Shannon re-entered Chantal's life, it was during the coke era, Shannon’s child was graduating, and maybe had the empty nest/midlife crisis going on, the last hooray so reached. Out knowing Chantal could get some narcotics, then Chantal can't keep mouth shut blasting it possibly causing marriage issues?, or straining something already wasn't doing well, then with the. Sudden publicity to the family, added more, maybe Shannon was re addicted and everything started to go, then her father dies a catalyst, yes they are all messy, but absolutely Chantal is vile, they do say karma's a bitch, and at this rate karma needs to be driving a double decker or an asteroid/meteor to fall upon to hit Chantal.
