Not Just Bikes / r/fuckcars / Urbanists / New Urbanism / Car-Free / Anti-Car - People and grifters who hate personal transport, freedom, cars, roads, suburbs, and are obsessed with city planning and urban design

The one thing I agree with NotJustBikes on is bike lanes are dumb. What if we took a sidewalk, made it twice as wide, and called it a bike path? These retards would cream their pants and I wouldn't have to deal with cyclists pretending traffic laws don't apply to them. They want multi-modal streets, I want multi-modal sidewalks.
Those exist in a lot of places in the US (especially in the suburbs) and are pretty popular with families/casual bikers, dog walkers, and runners. The spandex crowd complains about them though, whining that it is annoying to be held up by slower traffic and that it’s much better to ride in the road.
They literally make the exact same arguments about pedestrians that drivers make about cyclists.

Most people are pretty retarded when it comes to anything moving faster than a general walking pace though, cars or bikes it doesn't really seem to matter if someone is stupid enough. I've had plenty of retard jaywalkers and not having awareness of the vehicles around them, as much as I've had the retard incapable of sharing a path or allowing me to pass them on a narrow one despite slowing down and being polite with a bike.

I could never understand road bike/spandex fags though, and I hate how some states and specific counties go as far as to have laws against sidewalk biking. Even on some of the best paved roads nearby locals schools, I never felt too safe riding on the road itself. Spandex fags are insane to me purely due to their insistence on road biking.

I like how these idiots claim to be against pollution, global warming, over population but want you to get rid of your car and move into a crammed city in a tiny apartment.
I bet they'd fucking worship the Kowloon Walled City.

I actually agree with Not Just Bikes on somethings. He mentioned how some places do not have crosswalks all around and your only choice is to jaywalk to places. I had the same experience living in a suburb where it was not pedestrian friendly if I wanted to branch way out of my neighborhood. Not having a car did make it very hard to keep friends since they lived far away or at places I would have to jaywalk at. Thank god I have a car now. I am no eco fascist and I care about the environment, accessibility, and safety of all road users. I am not one of those pickup trucks that spew a lot of smoke and I drive economically and only when I really need to. Public transportation can be cool when you can snooze the entire ride unless if it is like the rowdy NYC subway. But these people not willing to consider our perspective and calling us car brains makes me want to straight pipe my car.
Edit: Also MY CAR MY CHOICE!

Cars and car infrastructure can be ugly and have safety issues. People without cars can be screwed over when a city is car-centric.

But cars allow mobility. A modern world without cars means more centralized public transportation run by government or corporation.

My town recently built a lovely bike path/walkway along a road. The spandex fags hate it purely because of the bumps that had to be installed for the blind.

I haven't seen one trying to use the road in a few years. Maybe they got their heads out of their asses and realized how ungrateful they sounded.

There was this one route I walked to work, and another to go to the library. For some reason, cyclists suddenly started using the routes. And when they'd pass me walking, there were no warnings given, no slowing down, nor getting off the bike to walk it by me. They'd just suddenly zoom by, almost hitting me. The worst offender was this guy on a gas-powered motorized bike on the sidewalk.

These people never advocate for any alternative ideas, any middle ground or anything. Just storing enough bikes for a family in an apartment is impossible and unlike glorious Nippon, 15% of the population ensures keeping them in communal sheds or racks is impossible.

Also every single diehard urbanist I've met or heard of owns property, has a summer home and lives in 1% luxury. They never, ever opt for the commie blocks themselves.
Of course they wouldn't want to live in a Khrushchovka, that would put them in proximity with stinky poor people. Truly you wouldn't want a man of the people to wallow in such filth and squalor, would you, Comrade?
(Double posting because I can)
BTW, I HATE CARS TOO! I own a bike, the wrong kind, the loud, gas guzzling, polar bear slayer kind. Cars only stand in my freaking way!
Polar bears are the only species known to actively hunt humans on a regular basis.

Climatecucks can fucking choke on it.
Between antiwork and fuckcars, the manchild movement is really covering a lot of ground. When is r/bottlefeeding and r/fuckchores going to get big?
The real tragedy is, there are legitimate criticisms of workplace culture and car-centric urban planning, but it all gets drowned out by diet Chris Chans and self-righteous "urbanist" hypocrites who would themselves never touch a city bus, because again, ewww stinky poor people.

Good idea for a thread, it reminds me of Thiel's theory about why this shit is so appealing to redditors:

Peter Thiel is creepy as fuck in his own right but that is a pretty good point. When Reddit operates by pushing loads of left-wing fear-porn about potential dystopian futures, it's understandable for a substantial amount of people to go for the one that seems the least unbearable (out of the options that left-wing fear-porn producers even consider).

I read an article about early American cities, I can't be bothered to find it now, but the argument was that the biggest difference then was the rich had to live alongside the poor. So they had a vested interest in improving city life, aesthetics and the general public. Rich people then actually invested in things like public libraries, museums and theatres in an attempt to educate the working class.

Now that the rich live in their own enclaves, there's little incentive to do anything and the only rich people with opinions are bugmen urbanists.

I cycle oft-times for necessity at times as it beats traffic and for fitness (tho I like burgers with bacon and egg and other stuff I add too much), but is that soy boy not funded by oil companies to make cycling look the activity of certain unbearable shits?

Again I was nearly hit by a cyclist colliding with my bike as said cyclist decided to ignore the red light. If he had hit me with his bike (fairy of a man on a light bike), he would find how my weight training efforts are decent enough. He wasn't even that fast. He looked a bit frightened after I interacted with him for a short time. He slightly matches the description of a lycra fag who shouted nonsense at my mother and stuck her car, which was why I was thinking of thumping him and menacing him a little. I know how she drives. She's too patient with some faggots. The faggot in the clip was at least brave enough to annoy an angry black man. Most of lycra fags prefer to hassle women and others who won't punch them.

I have a Suzuki GT380 two stroke plus a big old car so I'm doing my bit to melt the ice burgers.
