IIRC Drudge doesn't even OWN or work on the Drudge Report anymore.

From what I recall, he sold his website to some neocon Never Trumpers around the time Trump got elected as far as going "check please!" and cashing out of the grift game. IIRC the new owners made condition of the purchase that they would be allowed to keep the name "Drudge Report" because of it's legacy media value, paying Drudge extra money as part of the purchase to create the illusion that Drudge was still running the webside to give their anti-Trump screeds credibility with normies who would think Drudge was against Trump.

Exactly and that's why I hate when people say stuff like "Trump was good, but we need a less divisive candidate next time." Yeah as if the media won't just do the exact same thing to whoever else with the same results.

Too many people don't seem to understand what made him "divisive" in the first place.

Thats a rumor that he somehow secretly sold, he is still legally listed as the owner of the company that owns drudgereport.com

Sky News AU is pretty based, but they're so biased that I don't like using them as any kind of reliable source. I don't know what they were like pre-Trump so I don't know if they have a history of grifting or not, but they are good at reading the room.
