"AA bad."

What's grand is that La Casa De La Trompeta Del Baño would extend Joh's commute from 5.6 miles to around 15-20 miles, depending on the route taken.

While a cyclist who rides regularly and has the right vehicle for the ride could cover that in an hour easily, he'd be chuggin' along at a 2-2.5 hour commute on a shit Walmart bike.

MOVE NOW, you trashy shits! I want this saga!!

We could’ve had a Gluten Free Girl situation type deal
Does she not know that when your doctor suspects that, they test for it? You don't not know if you have it if you're doctor thinks you do. That's their whole job, to tell you. She is bad at munching.
Polissa angy that the CDC relaxed Covid guideline

If dumb munchie cunts like Polly have their way, we’ll never go as close to pre pandemic as possible. A lot of munchies loved Covid because it made them look sicker (and don’t get me started on how abused long Covid got because of them trying to find another diagnosis to collect).

Also, think about it. How will Polissa get another stimulus check if we are moving on?
Why's she crying about people trying to kill her off because disabled when her immune system is fine? Does she think COVID is going back in the box? It exists now so she better get used to the idea. It's not fun but she's fine and not 80.

I don’t think a home health nurse can help with terminal laziness.
Do what, exactly? No kids, no job, just tweeting all day... Wtf does she need help with? What does she need an HHA for? To pat her hand and bring her a tumbler of soda when Joshie is trying to be an adult?
I hate Twitter.

Maybe the HHA is supposed to hold out a cat while she weakly pats it before falling back onto her fainting couch, taxed by all the effort.

The idea of two Polissas just shitting in buckets together is making me laugh. Well, 2.5 if you count Joh as the half. Too bad 13 animals are trapped with them.

AA isn’t perfect but this just shows more of Polly’s exemplary critical thinking skills. The reason you’re never considered cured or permanently sober in AA is not to keep you there forever, but to accept that addiction is a very hard demon to exorcise. Like the anorexic struggling with eating properly you’re struggling with it for life. Best to take it one step at a time. The religious elements of AA aren’t for everyone, but the main idea of never being cured is a common mentality in addiction groups because it’s a sound one.

Further, how is supporting one addict to keep them from succumbing to addiction and vice versa codependency? Polly and Joh are far better examples of that.

@Diet Coke 4 Life I am excited for this upcoming season. So many good plot lines! If la casa de la trumpeta del baño is better than her current place, then fine. Go live there instead. She’ll lose section 8 privileges if the landlord discovers how shit she made 705 Campbell St or if Josh stays post divorce (if it ever happens, I’d love to see Polly’s arrogance and piss poor planning really bite her in the yeasty ass).

It's not perfect, but it works. I've seen the good that AA does for alcoholics.

....When you're willing to do the work and go through all the steps and go along with your sponsor. It works for a reason.

More BS:

And her without her purple kimono to wrap about herself as she coughs delicately into a plus sized organic pad.

Think of the shock when instead of the state funded maid she's expecting, the HHA uses the tub trumpet to blow her out of bed and into the shower at 8am, followed by her being informed she can not have a 14th can of soda and to get ready for her walk, because they're HEALTH aides. They'll also tell on you to your doctors in a damn second. I hope she gets one!

I am glad to see that Polissa's brand of animal grift hasn't been working on most. Twitter, and any decent human being really, has a soft spot for animals in trouble but if they know the animals are in a constant state of crisis there's something wrong and the owner should surrender them.

Twitter has noticed that you're constantly begging because you're out of food, or your power's about to be shut off, or you need gas money for Joh to keep a job that was supposed to keep you afloat, or all of the above and more. You can't even take care of your own shit let alone your animals, people have finally realized you need to figure out they're better off in a shelter, and you've overstayed your welcome in the gimme community because you're making others look bad.

Very much looking forward to Polly's move-in date to the trumpet trailer and nothing has been done to make it livable. Running out of time, gorl.

Eta: don't public housing and welfare assistance require money management classes if you can't work? I assume Polissa has some exemption from work requirement if she's not constantly complaining about having to prove to the gubment she's applied to jobs. So Polissa would have had to take classes or workshops on surviving low income living to be eligible for section 8 to my understanding. She has so many resources at her fingertips and she shirks every responsibility to be an even bigger drain on society than she already is.

There is always the Beauty Parlor Off Topic subforum if you want to make something like that. I do like the advice we’ve given out to each other in this thread.

Haha much better.

So not only does she still think that she’ll be in the hospital for up to 6 days now, but she wants Josh to skip work to take care of her. Josh was hired July 25, by the way. Guess he didn’t make a month, after all
They cannot afford gas for him to get to work, but he's going to take several days off to sit with her in the hospital. If she absolutely needs him to take care of her, why not schedule his days off for when she's home? Also, she's going to milk this as long as she possibly can, so I doubt it will just be a few days off.

If they don't have gas money for a 5 mile commute, how the fuck are they going to move to the middle of nowhere? Does she just think that neither of them will have to work? Where is the money for the repairs supposed to come from?

Oh yeah, that's right. "Mutual aid", of course.

Also, seeing her shit about "you have to drive in Alabama" is almost as infuriating as the way she treats Dobby, the cats, and Schrodinger's snake. No, Polissa, you don't have to drive. You feel entitled to owning your own car. There's a difference.

I've been poor, I've lived in much more remote places than Polissa with much, much worse weather, and I've never owned a car. Nobody "has to" drive. Fuck off, Polissa. Maybe walking once in awhile would be good for your fat yeasty ass. 🎩

Having a car is 100% a luxury that a lot of people take for granted. Judging by the map of where Polissa is, they could get by without one and just bicycle everywhere. They’re too lazy for that. Yes it is sometimes inconvenient to not have a car (grocery trips or whatnot) but it’s absolutely doable.

Someone close to me was telling me that where they grew up (outside the US) a lot of people in their community walked everywhere and a lot of people never had a car. This person never felt like they needed to learn to drive, even after immigrating here, because walking wasn’t a big deal.

So I guess being an addict who turns to a community to actively work to overcome an addiction is a lesser human being than Polissa's poverty.

I'm not religious. I also don't like addicts. But only a real piece of shit argues something that works for some people. Just because your parents were drunks who taught you the neglect you show everything else in life and failed at AA doesn't mean there's inherently an issue with the program - it means there's an inherent issue in you which AA cannot address.

Let's hear about what a waste of money methadone clinics are.

I wish this were part of pre surgery discussion: sitting in the hospital while someone has surgery or right after they get out is a boring waste of time. Despite what is shown on TV, almost nothing happens with such urgency that you can’t just request a phone call if your presence is needed.
If she somehow does stay for 2-5 days, there will be staff (god help them) available to help her, and she’ll only really need Joh’s help once she’s home.
