To be fair, people would find the listings and mess with them. Not as if there are many sealed Lion King copies in the Seattle area.

The only thing I could think of doing on Ebay would be to either report the listing as fraudulent or buying and retracting.
That is antethetical to exposing him in my opinion.
When he would manage to sell it is better to record what he sold it with.

Also if he takes the pictures without anything that identifies his house there is literally no way anyone can identify him.
He just does not want to try.

At the very least he could take it all to a retro video game store and liquidate it all on the spot. Sure he would probably only get less than 70% of its market value but he would get the cash instantly and wouldn't have to dick around with shipping out a bunch of boxes and there wouldn't be ebay fees.

But that would requires taking time out of his busy, busy schedule (that he clearly can't fight against) to find a local store online (he'd need to finally use Google for himself), carry all those games to his car, put them in the car, get in the car, leave the security of his gated community, drive down to the store, get out of his car, get the games out of his car, take them into the store, wait for hours as the clerk checks each one and then will he be offered money for it. And he still needs to drive all the way back home, from a place he barely knows.

All he'd need to do is just take a picture of it on a table with some nondescript cloth or even just a blank piece of paper underneath to hide any distinctive marks that may exist.

Can’t make a budget. Has no idea what possessions he owns. Has no idea what has been in his closet for ten years, or does know and has no idea how to appraise any of it or get it into the hands of people who might actually value the things. Couldn’t fill out a basic bankruptcy form properly. Can’t tell the truth.

He wants us to believe he doesn’t spend his whole day gambling, but then the slightest exposure to his life reveals he doesn’t spend any time doing anything fucking else. Just a dumb, lazy brat.

There are loads of scams involving claiming items never arrived, or not as described then sending an empty box back for a refund. Ebay almost always sides with the buyer so selling things like cell phones on there is a nightmare. That would be a very stupid thing to do of course, but look at the amount of people who already send him money to say he has gout or his wife got blacked.

The fact he feels comfortable showing off the thousands of dollars in collectibles, technology and memorabilia he didn't declare on his bankruptcy gives me the slightest glimmer of hope that one day he'll be brazen enough to come clean about his Champions spending and begin the addict arc.

He's come to the point where if he admits to playing the game, it'd mean that the trollz won. It's a similar situation with the WAKhando, if he ever loses it even if its loss ends up being an objective net benefit and win for him (which given its overinflated market value due to the shit housing market in his area it would be a win for him), he'd still consider it a loss because in his mind it would be a win for da trollz.

yeah its funny but i'm really sick of phil and want him to go away sooner rather than later so i can be free from this. so if someone can finally make that happen, i'd be grateful. i feel like a "losing the house/divorce" arc would be a great way to end the series

Oh and him seeling that NEs or SNES or whatever he has: if some one were clever he or she would fork up perhaps 60-100$ and then resell it for what Ebay allows it. Scam the scammer so to speak. Or build your own retro collection for cheap. Heck I still have my very first console (a Master System) and ist should still work (if I ever find a TV where I can hook it up again)

Pretty sure some newer HDTV's have the old analogue slot inside for Freeview boxes (essentially free cable because the old analogue signal is shut off here in Engerland, but you'd be surprised how many people still use the boxes for what is more free cable, it's limited sure but an advancement in entertainment

And I would think old consoles like Master Systems use the same connection unless you have modded the console to output cleaner imagery

I do honestly miss the old Sega days but some games haven't aged well from the MS to the MD..

YT Gaming and Streaming is in a weird spot, and has been since inception, department execs leaving faster than they can be replaced, mostly for greener pastures in crypto, NFT, mobile and "metaverse"/digital real estate projects (which the Doc himself is also guilty of)

if Doc wants someone at YT to kiss his ass, he needs to go East and start playing PUBG mobile for the indian national esports team, (the sentiment being to do something new with seemingly uncapped potential), the Doc (much like DSP) is stuck in a stagnant, volatile trend from 2013, i'm not saying streaming is dead, but it's not the Wolverine toy that it once was

Streaming has peaked, the ceiling was previously unknown so there was a lot more investment, (time & $$$ wise), but now the ROI isn't as favourable as it used to be, gone are they days of loss-making decisions to hopefully increase market share, liability is just easier to calculate now than it was before

well that's the $$$ side of why YT don't care (not specifically about the Doc, but YT Gaming/Streaming as a whole), and then there's the entire #woke side of YT, it could be as simple as execs suggesting the whites (being the YT Gaming team) not fratonise with mudbloods (being streamers with higher liability than others)

Yep, there is an endless pit of streamers playing video games, due to the allure appeal of fame and riches and how easy it is to make livestreams nowadays, just a matter of buying the right equipment and setting up OBS. So now streaming is like industrial revolution factory jobs: no matter how shittily streamers get treated, if one quits there will be 10 more coming to fill his place. So these platforms don’t really have any incentive to improve the situation for streamers.

Phil gave himself away with that clip of repeating several times that "No! I am NOT selling it online!", way more than he has with anything else, because it shows who he was talking to, and it wasn't us. It was the fans he knows are stupid, and need it drilled in deep. These are the people who still bug him about doing co-op with members and still don't know to stop dropping large sporadic sums in his PayPal account.

Phil doesn't want them paying any mind to whatever sale attempts he decides to make "behind the scenes", that's why he goes out of his way to re-iterate that he won't do it. Don't bring it up and don't bother looking, because if he does change his mind about certain items, like after he gets desperate enough from a lack of tips, you are not to know what he's selling or what he's selling it for.

There's a reason he gets so pissy about people noticing the value of his belongings, and the way it makes a liar out of him. He's not worried about trolls, he wants the dentheads unaware.
