The term "muppet" is so apt. The way that he flings himself around like some cheap, plastic bobblehead to hide his crusty stubble infuriates me in the same way that over the top children cartoons do. The difference is that the later aim to entertain three-year-olds whereas Dylan's tiktoks aim to justify his disintegrating sanity and shadow his conscious mind from the realization that his golden twink days are well behind him; ahead there is only age, crows feet, the slow, skinny-fat bloating of his midsection, and Grindr rejection.
His caricature of womanhood should be being mocked by women, not embraced. The entire act is incredibly sexist and delusional, the surrealism only amplified when his dense male skull pops into frame to fling a tampon around for the entertainment of the masses while he tries to "normalize women having a bulge" (LMFAO).
It is sort of sad, because he does not seem like an inherently bad person beyond being your run-of-the-mill muppet-twink attention whore. This might have something to do with it. There's a lot of gay kids who troon out because of homophobic parents and communities, or because the locals gossip about them and the parents feel ashamed of their kid even if they still love them. That's what happened with Kim Shappley, her church and a bunch of other places told her that she didn't have an effeminate possibly future gay (he was a toddler) son, she had a straight daughter in a boy's body, and that was more acceptable. I don't know Dylan's situation is that extreme, but it sounds like he's felt uncomfortable about being gay in the church and the whole "straight girl in the wrong body" appeals to him.
Either that or he's just taking his trolling to the next level by making fun of that whole phenomenon, but I'm not sure he's clever enough to do that.
