It's unironically complicated. Yes/no.

Is it weird? Yeah, it's fucking weird. But MLB is a pretty sizable fandom all things considered. Remarkably little teenagers writing in it, and an awful lot of adults participating in it.

It's like MLP but for non-furrys. Very cute thing that childish adults get attached to. As a fandom it has surprisingly little degeneracy. There are worse things to get attached to.
