General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

is that it? then what part of it like its some "mandatory" for vtuber? or as its like a fact rather than some people taste? for example,if there is a solo streamer/vtuber,want to solo stream, prefer to solo stream and don't want to collab except for some special event etc,so we have to "FORCED" that vtuber to collab? for me the good thing about holo or "F U N" is their choice.

you want to be fubuki? "fans are FRIENDS" and will collab with oga if he she want to(who cares about gachikoi right?) then good, but if there is pekora or gura don't want to collab or prefer solo stream etc you want to forced them is a "good thing"? for me that is the worst and i'm not even gachikoi or care about parasocial thing.

i forgot which stream, but there is a vesper stream when he talk about "collab",why people collab,WHY PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO COLLAB and he explain it perfectly thats why those unityfag/collabfag are dumb.

Speak your truth, good sir.

Don't let the Nijifags like RiverBear try to gaslight you into thinking normal interaction with men and women is okay. We can all see just how disastrous it is.

I'll honestly never understand girls that says that when you know what all they've done before.

Which I assume she's talking about this one.

"Set up monetization", aka charging people to see them..she may as well have just kept her patreon on the side and still slid people her "too lewd for tv" pic sets every month, since you know the same girl that straddles soda cans and rubs strawberries on her butthole (in panties) is worried low cut shorts are too lewd.

i dont have any stake in this but i think if you gonna do a members stream, you should follow the schedule you have planned and not bring in any random guests unless its a last minute announcement.

i dont watch Nina but i can imagine most of her members are coomers with mommy issues so i dont think brining in a male (even worse Vox) into your members stream at random is a good idea.

Two Ame streams in one day, it is a good day. I find it hilarious how it's only taken two Rust streams for her to be better strapped than any of the other EN members I've seen, the detective is a troo gamer

Edit - further proof of Ames gamer status, she's already broken the gambling mechanic
Gura talked about her most recent Rust progress in her member stream, she is apparently very stacked, at least weapon-wise, she talked about "having a flamethrower or two". Girls has been playing a lot off stream.

This may be hypocritical as I am an ESL too, but please take some english lessons. This is giving me secondhand embarrassment.
There is a difference between being an ESL, and not being able to write. @longrattz I'm sure you have a lot of meaningful and insightful thoughts to share with the community. And we'd honestly all love to hear them, but sometimes it's really hard to read after you. Please consider this advice:
1. Put spaces after commas, it'll make your posts much easier on the eyes.
2. Use periods. Nobody likes a wall of text, especially when it's all one long sentence. Separating your thoughts into sentences and using capital letters will make your text much nicer. Bonus points for putting spaces after your periods too.

Sorry for the user posting. For everyone tired of Rust, here's some ARK instead :)

Honestly, considering the fact she spent nearly a month off-collabing with the NijiEN boys none of them should be surprised if she invited him or any of them along. It was worse with Reimu because of their obvious dynamic and the fact she was always all over him, so it felt like her followers were thirdwheeling the member's watchalong, whereas with Nina, we know no one is actually parasocial with her in a similar manner, at least not to such large degrees compared to the other girls.

I'm still somewhat dumbfounded how much fuss got made over someone taking a post-it note
I don't think you fully understand the extent of the Korean obsession with Kiara. She's spent nearly a year now catering to them. They stay up at their fuck you hours just to catch her, the ones that understand English are translating in her chat in the early morning for free. Koreans love their cults and Kiara more or less accidentally built one. So try to imagine the reaction when something written by Kiara/Keeki's own hand is stolen and she issues a half serious plea for its return to the café. Of course they're going to freak out.

Maybe cult is a little strong a description, but still. There's actual reverence.

I'm not suprised it got taken, I"m surprised it warranted a company tweet, a personal tweet from kiara, and a chat on stream from Kiara giving the "we're not angry we're disappointed" talk about someone taking a scrap of paper with a name written on it. what you're saying would make sense if the hullaballoo was from the fans, fans sperg and over react to everything.
But I'd think the cafe and Kiara would just shrug it off because it's just a piece of paper.

My confusion is that it warranted a plea from any official to have it returned at all.

You remind me of someone in this thread from long ago…

It's simple, the Koreans have absolutely no chill on their idols related antics. That's why they have to get tard wrangled, hard 24/7, or it's only going to escalate from there

Can't quote Burnt Fish
There is at least 1 member of every single hololive generation except Gen 3 that interacts with Holostars or dudes outside the company.
No @ because I'm not actually adding to the conversation. I just want someone to check my Holo deep lore.
JP0: Sora, AZKi, Suisei
JP1: Aki, Matsuri, Fubuki

The way I see it is that Hololive's appeal is in a way pretty similar to "cute girls" anime like K-On. People watch those anime to see cute girls, and those girls generally exist in entirely female spaces. Some go far as to have almost no males at all (Love Live quite notably after like the first season). Others may have guys in the background or as the occasional side character, but the general impression is that penis havers will never be a part of the female in-group that is core to the dynamic of those shows.

That's what Hololive more or less is. Guys can interact with them, obviously, but the Holostars will always be guests allowed in to that female space for short periods of time rather than a part of a mixed gender space. Hololive members can form close, "in-character" relationships with people entirely outside of Hololive (ex: Suisei with Inui Toko), but not with guys. You are probably never going to have a dynamics like those between Millie and Fulgur, Reimu and Ike & Vox, or even Selen & Vox (who aren't especially close, but are totally comfortable joking about whatever when together), between a HoloEN & a Tempus member. If there is something like that it'd probably be with Calli given her personality. Hell, even with Nijisanji one could argue that such dynamics aren't super common in JP, but instead are more prevalent in EN and ex-ID.

That being said I also think the Ame unicorn thing I think is mostly a red herring. I suspect it's mostly just /vt/ trolls larping as upset fans to drum up shit, similar to the whole Pomu/Finana/Uki thing with NijiEN a few months ago. I don't think Ame's degree of interaction with the guys is enough to justify unicorn rage. There probably are some unicorns out there who are genuinely upset - you don't get to 1.7m subscribers without picking up a few weirdos along the way - but I don't think the vegetarian/meat analogy is applicable here.
Mostly agree. I'll just add that all unicorns prefer segregation, but not everyone who prefers Holopro's soft segregation is a unicorn. I am one of those.

Also the official announcement and more infos on the HoloID Cup on august 16. Main stream on Moona's channel with her an Ollie as hosts, team povs from Reine and Anya

JP member learning EN from ID member
Ollie and Aruran did something similar a day ago.

Edit: Miko is scouting the arena for the HoloID cup and just joined VC with Risu, Reine and Zeta.
