Dramacow Ryulong / Michael Cohen - Fanatic Wikisperg, Anti-Gamergater and All Around Asshole

Yeah, I saw and just updated the above post. I suspect there are many more of such IPs.

00:48, 10 February 2016 (diff | hist) . . (-79)‎ . . List of Power Rangers Dino Charge characters ‎ (Undid revision 704165733 by 166.171.186.30 (talk) no it's just you who keeps reverting me whenever I try to clean things up and remove bad edits)

Classic Ryulong.

I'm not really up-to-speed with my IPv6, by the way. But ARIN says the net range is 2601:140:: - 2601:17F:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF, so I would expect that those addresses are, at least potentially, Ryulong's (?)

IP 2601:140:8200:DE:E081:167E:5FAE:7DCB has some suspicious Ryulong-isms:

- Obsessing over translations? Check and check.
- Persecution complex? Check.
- Arrogant ownership over pages? Check.

Then again, I suppose the same can be said about a great many pathetic weebs with nothing better to do than obsess over the Wikipedia pages of their favourite children's cartoon.

''Edit'': Looking at the history, it seems that we also have 2601:140:8200:De:bce5:27d5:e81a:D444 and 2601:140:8200:DE:1176:A21F:161F:9D1A, both of which have a very Ryulong feel to them. It looks like Ryulong discovered the wonders of having millions of IPv6 addresses available to him.

Could this be the reason that Ryulong hasn't appealed to his ban? He's content editing as 3 million BoNs?

You're missing a few according to this

I wrote a quick scrape script to pull out the various IP addresses used by editor(s) who've been active on this Talk page at 2601:140:8200:.... Here is that list, for the record.

I also think there's a very god chance that it's Ryulong.

[EDIT] FUCKING SMILIES

Wow. He still can't let it fucking go. I have to admit I'm surprised.

Is he diagnosed with Super Autism, perhaps?

That is weird, why didn't he? He's normally not content with being just an anonymous author.

If you get banned at the Arbcom level, you need to appeal to them directly. If they tell you no, you're screwed. This would not be made public unless they undid the ban.

Also, checked those edits mentioned above, definitely reeks of Ryulong's time honored BS. Even edits all the stuff that is sperg catnip for the guy.

It's just a Wiki but then again, ryulong is too much of an antisocial cunt to understand that he doesn't have to be obsessively thinking about this 24/7.

We are assuming he's still banned because he's not editing under his handle. But he could be unbanned and editing under an IP to avoid shit.

Ryulong is an asshole and in an open relationship with reality. But he does meet up with reality from time to time when reality isn't busy fucking someone else up the arse.

I suspect he's very much aware that an appeal would most likely be denied. The RationalWiki drama is just over, and the whole bleach wiki affair came after that, and then there was that other anime wiki quite a while ago he got kicked off. If he would appeal now it all that drama would be sniffed out in an instant and would go on his "Wikipedia record", so to speak. Not good for him, because once they learn he's been banned off not just one, not just two, but a grand total of three wikis in less than a year after getting permabanned from Wikipedia , I think that anyone would come to the conclusion that this is a fairly hopeless case. One would expect that one would tone it down a notch after getting kicked off Wikipedia, but not Ryulong. If anything, he stepped up a notch.

So he could be doing a few things:

- Biding his time. He's been keeping a low profile, not causing drama, etc. One would hope that he learned his lesson and moved on to more productive hobbies better suited to his personality, but Ryulong doesn't exactly have a history of learning from his mistakes and those IPv6 BoNs shed even more doubt on that. Ryulong is well known for applying the "but that was months ago, I'm a better person now!"-defence so he might apply in a few months, and when the drama gets brought up he uses that defence, which he's been using for almost a decade and is completely unbelievable at this point, but he's unhinged enough to try and I think that at least partly he's actually genuine in wanting to change and do better−he just can't and slips back to old behaviour at the drop of a hat.

- He either changed his online persona from Ryulong to something else or is planning to. Not the most likely, for some reason he can't get go of his double dragon thing just like he can't let go of the buddyloids, but it's possible, and he doesn't have that many options left at this point.

- He has no idea what the fuck to do and edits as BoNs out of sheer wikiholic desperation.

Just to back you up, he kept his Ryulong tripcode on 4chan for years despite being despised. If he wouldn't give up his nick then to go anon then he sure as shit isn't going to give up his nick now.

Yeah, as I said, it's not the most likely option. But AFAIK he never actually got banned from 4chan, right? He's more or less driven into a corner with regard to Wikipedia editing, he doesn't have that many options left. I don't see the "Ryulong" persona getting unbanned any time soon, and Ryulong is not so unhinged that he doesn't realize this.

Any Kiwis in NYC? How hard is it to get a job there, as in entry level, low requirements stuff?

Cohen seems to have given up on his video game tester dream and now wants to - pardon me while I laugh - find work as a Japanese transratol. Hopefully anyone offering a job would do a search on him and see that he has been supporting shitty Engrish transrations like "condol legs" and "gord drive" for years and years. http://archive.is/MEWiJ

Never lived in NYC but I have friends there and have considered job offers from the area. Entry level office positions (admin. roles, data entry, etc.) aren't that hard to come by or interview for, provided you have the skills they are looking for. Ryulong has a couple of challenges facing him with these like explaining his lengthy absence from the workforce or how being a wiki editor means a damn thing to anyone. In addition, NYC is a pretty competitive market. Even if he could get through the interviews, he's still a raging asshole who doesn't take criticism well which doesn't lend itself to staying in a job for long.

Now, onto the other issues Mr. Dragon is going to have with this new pursuit - he's not qualified for a professional translator job. I doubt he has a JPLT or BJT certification and I don't think he can converse at a high enough level to BS his way through one of those interviews.

Considering the only thing that keeps him from being banned is having a crew of ridiculously loyal allies who'll come to his defence and shriek like enraged chimps that he's a "long-term good editor!" no matter what he does, and considering also how wikipedia treats new editors (like expendable pieces of shit), I somehow doubt he'll last long.
