Some good news for Republicans in Georgia - Kemp and Walker are ahead of Abrams and Warnock, respectively.

Kemp is polling 51.4% to Abrams's 43.5%. Herschel Walker has only a slight lead over Warnock, at 45.2% to 43.6%. However, it's noted that in the suburbs, Walker has a 5-point lead over Warnock, so he may actually be doing better.

The only caveat with this poll is that it was conducted by the Phillips Academy, who I've never heard of, and have no idea how reliable they've been in the past.


The problem is that there's a high probability that if he had invoked the Insurrection Act, Miley and other political lifetimers at the Pentagon would've refused the order and either resigned or gone to the Democrats in Congress to proclaim that Trump was making tyrannical moves against "peaceful protesters." Not only would this have made Trump look incredibly weak and powerless, but the Democrats and their allies would've moved to impeach him or have him removed from the ballot.

The fact that there was so much political, corporate, and NGO backing over the rioters and that every part of the system seemed to be working to ensure that they continued is what's convinced me that the Floyd Riots were basically a Color Revolution carried out on our own fucking soil.

Late reply to this, but poll quality aside it does make sense. Kemp has been consistently ahead by ~5% since spring, something which in of itself shows Walker is also ahead. The guy may not be as far ahead as Kemp is (given Warnock has largely kept out of the national news), but there's no way you're getting a split ticket come November in this environment.

I remember when this was being discussed a year ago there were murmurings it would apply to all collective deposits into your bank accounts that weren't already accounted for, including cash. Based on what I'm seeing now it seems like it's exclusively payment apps. Is that correct or am I missing something, because it seems like the obvious solution is just to use cash if you're able to.

Maybe. Walker is a pretty bad candidate, the kind that does best by hiding and riding the R next to his name. Ive met Boomers unhappy with Biden but will vote for Reverend man who says milquetoast moderate things while voting down the line Dem. Abrams makes it clear shes an Atlanta creature and repulses anyone who isnt pro Atlanta bullshit. Warnock doesnt have the same vibe.

Also the state GOP are massive massive RINOs. They are all in on Kemp. They dont want to support Walker sense he's gonna be a puppet for someone if elected. (You can tell dude had too many football concussions) And that someone aint gonna be them most likely.

Flight risk from what? Until you charge him with a crime, he's not under any restrictions, and your investigation gives you no authority over his movements or actions. You are a free man by all accounts until charges are brought and then if it is felt you need to be detained, a warrant for arrest can be put out.

These people really want the government to just have blanket control and authority over them as long as they use it against the Cheeto Benito first.
