I don't think either side really wants this since Wings and the troll channels are in a symbiotic relationship.

Wings says he wants the channels and general troll community gone but like you mentioned they made him relevant again. His channel was nearly dead before he started freaking out on stream and attracted the trolls. When all the troll channels were in hiding, reddit and discord pages deleted a month or two ago his number of viewers and donations plummeted. Wings left to his own devices makes uninteresting content filled with dead air and general toxicity that drives his teammates and genuine fans away. This is why his channel died in the first place. He obviously hates the negative aspects of his trolls but as we've seen he will put up with it because he does not want to stop streaming for a living.

The troll channels get off on the pseudo-celebrity feeling they get from all the views, money and general attention they receive for making glorified stream highlight videos. Some of them like Xbottle try to branch out but no one cares about the creators themselves, they just want edited Wings content. They like to talk about how horrible Wings is and how he should be deplatformed but given the opportunity they have him shave his beard for content instead.

Both sides need the other but can't admit it. Wings because of his ego, the troll channels because it would ruin the image they put out of themselves and they would lose viewers.

This idea that it's good for wings to have trolls who destroy him, call him a peadophile, stop any chance of him getting a real job and bully him into depression is absolutely crazy mate.

If wings makes bad content and goes into the darkness and can't support himself then cool, without the trolls he would be able to go get a job like he tried when he did Uber until one of you virgin basement dwellers got him fired.

RealTawk needs to understand that Wings is funnier when left streaming. In my opinion, there's no point of striking him and getting him banned off all platforms. There's a point where it stops being that you're laughing at your favorite lolcow and you realize that you're going a bit too far.

I’m a little late here but I’m gonna throw in my two cents. I’m even going to @Null because I would like you to see it. I try not to bother site staff or in particular Null because I know they have shit going on that’s a lot more important to deal with than my autistic screeching and shitposting.

I enjoy your forum a lot Null and I appreciate that you provide us with an old school style forum as an alternative to image boards. That’s truly a rarity in our year of existence and despite the fact that it took me years of lurking to finally make an account I feel right at home because these are the types of boards I grew up using.

Now that I have got my ass licking out of the way I’ll get to why I’m really writing this.

This thread over the past week is one of many (likely hundreds) examples of how the well intentioned featured content section shits up threads and makes them unusable for regulars. The reason I say this is because after enough people came in and shit on Wings you came and shit on them for being discord trolls.

There definitely have been a few of those posters with all the ongoing events but the grand majority of people here are like myself in that they consume the highlight content and then come here to discuss it.

I can tell you who the regulars of this thread are because it has been one of my watched threads for months now and unless I scrolled past it I can positively say that none of these people have brought any discord gay ops to this thread. I can’t tell you if any of them participate in it off site but if they do they leave it away from here.

@Power Glove is probably the most active poster here and he shares troll videos frequently. He shares different sources too so I know he’s not here to promote himself.

@Impossible Brutality has also been another thread regular here since before the highlights and has not posted any discord gay ops.

@Juan But Not Forgotten is another regular who derides Wings but as far as I have seen has brought no kind of gay ops here.

There are a few others I’m definitely missing as well but for the most part until about 100 pages ago when this thread was featured there were maybe 5-6 posts a day here discussing the days clips. No one on here was coordinating to report Wings or anything of that nature.

There were definitely very hostile takes and some very mean spirited banter but I doubt you could find a thread on this board without those. I get that you have had shit experiences with Wings trolls in the past and that has probably painted a lot of this interaction but these are not the same people as you dealt with (as far as I can tell.)

I don’t think most members of this forum want Wings to be homeless and destitute. I think most people just want to laugh at the shit he does. It’s just like with Gunt to be perfectly honest.

Maybe the trolls feel less is being risked when they mess with Wings which is what emboldens them, because his trolls don’t feel like they’re going to get totally sucked in and then doxed and posted on the farms like Gunt weens get. In that sense I would absolutely support you changing this too the Weens of Redemption/Wings of Redemption thread.
