If this last happening proved anything is that Wings loves the attention more than money. He wants people to see him being miserable and the most bullied person on the internet. Maybe not "enjoy" enjoy as he enjoys fast food, but it does give him a reason to never try to be better, lash at others and feel justified and be a victim. It's his sense of belonging just as his spregy trolls' sense of belonging is "taking Wings down".

This would be the most fair punishment and his own purgatory because he'd have to face the idea that his time as an entertainer was over years ago and he's pushing 40 with no education, no skills, and having spent almost half his life fighting with kids on the internet. He wouldn't have anyone left to blame for his stressful life and as we know, Wings is an insufferable person who wants to have his proverbial cake and eat it. He will cry about how no one ever helps him and people just want to see him fail whenever he gets teamkilled on R6 but he also never treats people as equals or is even remotely nice to others unless they're nice to him first (a.k.a. give him money), so even without trolls antagonizing him he wouldn't have much of a shot at a career as a streamer.

On the grand scheme of things, none of this matters. What made the Sean Ranklin era so great is that he was simply making highlights of his streaming sessions and putting them out there, arguably giving him relevance that he had lost himself. People were repeating the same quotes and calling him Richard because he got irrationally angry over it. What any other streamer would have turned into a brand and merch, Wings tried to pass as an evil organization he wanted to take to court just because he couldn't understand why a bunch of people would laugh at a fat guy raging at FPS on the damn internet.

Wings is an awful person, sure, but he's not a criminal who needs to be prosecuted (as of now, at least). The day he's caught with his hand in the cookie jar like EDP or CWC, then sure, but until then it's pointless to be an internet crusader.

I don't think either side really wants this since Wings and the troll channels are in a symbiotic relationship.

Wings says he wants the channels and general troll community gone but like you mentioned they made him relevant again. His channel was nearly dead before he started freaking out on stream and attracted the trolls. When all the troll channels were in hiding, reddit and discord pages deleted a month or two ago his number of viewers and donations plummeted. Wings left to his own devices makes uninteresting content filled with dead air and general toxicity that drives his teammates and genuine fans away. This is why his channel died in the first place. He obviously hates the negative aspects of his trolls but as we've seen he will put up with it because he does not want to stop streaming for a living.

The troll channels get off on the pseudo-celebrity feeling they get from all the views, money and general attention they receive for making glorified stream highlight videos. Some of them like Xbottle try to branch out but no one cares about the creators themselves, they just want edited Wings content. They like to talk about how horrible Wings is and how he should be deplatformed but given the opportunity they have him shave his beard for content instead.

Both sides need the other but can't admit it. Wings because of his ego, the troll channels because it would ruin the image they put out of themselves and they would lose viewers.
