Holy shit this thread has been a ride. It always surprises me just how clean the body actually is when compared to kills you get in movies and most of the time these things seem to happen from sheer stupidity, hubris and complacency.

I did find the one educational video about rabies fascinating. If there are any more of these I'd like to see them - it would be great to have visual references for kills in my horror projects.

I wonder how much China actualy saves up by having near zero industrial safety standards and employee training if they keep losing a considerable amount of their worforce due to shit like this. After some time, the amount of bodies piling up has to cost something. It all reminds me of that old /int post of a guy that was an industrial freight manager and how he was sent to work on the Chinese branch of his company and having to constantly face corruption and substandard practices on steel factories.

You will be amazed at how much you can save on money when human lives dont mean shit to you and you can get away with it because of your tyrannical government.

If you showed my mom videos of people dying from rides, she'd make sure me and my siblings don't enter another one. She always gets worried whenever we enter these rides and I can't blame her. Rides like these, you either leave with joy or sorrow.

It's also pretty wild to consider that these people have probably seen the consequence of riding rides like these and said, "That won't happen to me, the chances of that happening is slim to none." or something similar, and unfortunately, the dice landed on their death.

I think its more of, "You have a higher chance of dying in a car accident than you would in the army/carnival rides/ hang-gliding/parachute etc. Unless you live in china." Which is why people take those odds.
