One thing you have to understand about Leftoids is that they're not fond of the pillars that make up Western civilization and they're not fond of the pillars that make up first-world liberal democracy in general for that matter.
The things that make up the developed world as we know it (such as freedom of speech/expression, the right to a fair trial, voting for your representatives, and so on) are more of an inconvenience to them. If you ever listened to the talking points of most Leftoids, they want everything to fit their ideas of what they think a "perfect society" really is and one of the things they heavily advocate for is the whole "believe victims" narrative without any solid evidence being present. The whole concept of presumption of innocence is more of an obstacle to many of the Leftoids because the whole concept of a fair trial and the concept of presumption of innocence does really hinders their efforts to witch-hunt the people that don't like that much.
So take example the whole Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard drama that took place. At the start of the drama, everyone was on Amber Heard's side until those audio clips got leaked on the Internet which changed public perception and people then started to support Johnny Depp from that point onwards because it was clear that Amber Heard is a giant piece of shit and Johnny Depp is the victim in that whole situation then. Amber Heard would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for the pillars of liberal democracy that proved she's nothing but a horrible person to begin with.
The Leftoids don't really like liberal democracy as we know it and they will do anything to dismantle it to establish their shitty Communist/Socialist way of life (violently if they have to, look up Weather Underground back when they were active in the 1960's and the 1970's and what they did at the time) and so the reason why they're so butthurt over this is because liberal democracy hinders their efforts to try to totally take down Vic Mignogna then
If you ask me, these Leftoids are unironically evil since most of their talking points heavily mirrors that of the genocidal dictators of the past that talked the same lines of rhetoric before anyway.
