I honestly think Bibi left because he simply had enough but put some salt in the wounds whilst arguing. Said "you've gained weight" and "are not attractive". She's lost almost 15lbs in 5 days so 3 lbs a day. 1lb of fat loss is equivalent to 3500 calories. To lose 3lbs per day she would need a calorie deficit of 10,500 per day. To give her the benefit of the doubt let's say 1/3 or 2/3 of her weightloss is water weight. So 10lbs of fat loss in 5 days she would need a deficit of 7000 calories per day. And 5lbs of fat loss in 5 days she would need a 3500 calorie deficit per day.

Her bmr is 2100. If she did fuck all the entire day she burns 2100 just existing. If she ate nothing she would still need to burn an extra 1400 calories per day for 5lbs fat loss over 5 days, 4900 per day for 10lb loss and 8400 for 15lbs. Waddling around the house and rolling down hills don't burn those kind of numbers.

It's also strange to have consistent water weight loss for 5 days. If she had altered her diet and lessened her salt intake that retained water would be released in a couple of days. But she's still eating high sodium foods such as a family sized bags of chips.

Dr now's gives his 600lbers a 1200 calorie diet with the goal of losing 30lbs in 1 munt. You're telling me Chantal who is half the size of those 600lbers can do that in just 10 days if she keeps going at this rate .

The math just isn't mathing. My money is on drugs.

Canada has free Healthcare for most things but not everything. Also only some things are subsidized or the money they subsidize a clinc may not be enough. Therefore sexual health clinic can be open longer hours, more days if there are volunteers.

Gonorrhea is tested by urine sample. They don’t need to see her genitals to test for it. They would have put a SpeciPan (urine catcher) in the a toilet and told her to leave a sample.

Oral gonorrhea is way less common than genital, her gonorrhea story never made much sense.

Unfortunately for females in Canada they prefer to test for GC/ Trich using swabs rather then urine. They say it's more "test sensitive" in females. I call bs. But here they swab you. I think in sti clinics you can do the swab yourself. I think only rare places use female urine for the test.

Health care is free, but resources are scarce. The doctors get paid for their time at the sexual health clinics. They bill the province as usual...but the clinic is not their primary practice. So, they offer to take time out of their office practice and give a few hours to the clinics.
Which means sometimes there is a wait before a GP or OBGYN will be in the clinic to see patients.
Generally in Canada, doctors incorporate themselves and then they either open their own office/clinic or join someone a practice already existing.
Community sexual health clinics are different because unlike a medical office they are non profit. The doctors get paid their billable hours by the province but the office staff are volunteers, and the office lease, and equipment is purchased by donations and grants. At least that's how it worked at thr clinic I volunteered at.
And you could only attend the clinic for sexual health matters. You couldn't also ask the doctor you saw about say joint pain or mental health stuff.
Most patients we saw had a primary care physician but opted to come to the clinic to get in and out quickly as you could walkin or get a same day appointment and that is very difficult to get with your GP here in Canada. For instance, I can't see my family doctor in person until Oct because he is booked up.
If I needed an STI test tomorrow I could go to one of the community based sexual health clinics and likely get in that day I'd just have to sit and wait a few hours.
And, many Canadians actually lack a family doctor...again due to resources being spread thin. So they rely on walkin clinics, the ER, or clinics like the one I volunteered at.

Adding on to the “free” healthcare -

Universal health care means treatment is free for anyone with a valid Ontario health card.

There are circumstances when Ontarians might not have a valid health card (this is particularly an issue with homeless people), but also there are immigrants who do not have valid coverage, international students, people whose private/education coverage has lapsed or expired, visitors etc. These people would have to pay for treatment at a doctor’s office or hospital. Also, international students who may not want their conservative families to have access to health information via private insurance coverage.

Free sexual health clinics are volunteer-run or funded to ensure treatment is available to everyone who needs it. And, as pointed out, it’s not a full-time volunteer staff, but rather professionals who choose to do community service work on a part-time basis.

People with OHIP coverage will give their health card for the clinic to bill the ministry of health.

The whole point is accessibility for vulnerable / at risk people. Which makes it even more frustrating that someone like Chantal, who could easily see her own doctor for her free healthcare and go to any lab for the tests will eat up resources and take up space in a free clinic that other non-covered patients rely on.
