So Sargon had a debate with PSA Sitch and Adam Friended about liberalism on their channel a couple of days ago.

Now I know there's 50 different criticisms that one can give about liberalism. Especially from non-liberals like commies and fascists who don't support it and see it as cucked.

But Sargon seems to come off poorly within this argument, especially with stuff like trying to defend Academic Agent with "well, he has a PhD" (despite a couple of months ago, him scoffing at science and education), or SJW tactics like basically trying to mix definitions of 'equality of opportunity's with 'equality of outcome.'
But honestly, I'd say the worst was going "well, Adam wants to improve the material conditions of humans. That is also what commies say, ergo wanting to improve material conditions of human beings makes you a commie."
Setting aside the fact that "improving the material conditions of all human beings" is not what commies want (their 'improve material conditions' bit is only for the 'proletariat', not the 'bourgiouese' (and in reality, not even that)), Carl doing this kinda 'Hitler drank water' bit was so surreal, it felt like it came out of a Matt Bors comic or something.

Carl’s frame should be that they defend liberalism in theory while he critiques it in practice. Instead of letting them defend the concepts of fairness and open-mindedness in a vacuum

If Carl doesn't interfere with his content creators as much as it seems then its a small price to pay having to deal with the occassion garbage video he does to get a reasonable amount of creative freedom.

Okay I finished the Carl vs Adam and Stitch stream. And, I can’t believe I’m gonna say this, hold onto some railing or something… Carl is right. And I’ll try to explain his position better than his own words allowed.

He’s still a frustrated mush-mouth debater and you can see this right out of the gate. Apparently this debate is partly about a book that Adam and Stitch really misrepresented that Sargon was trying to make them see the point of. So he said “Liberals and Communists are basically the same, you both see improving the material conditions of everyone equally as the purpose of politics. Then Communists can always make a stronger emotional argument so they beat you.”

Unfortunately this last bit was talked over and he didn’t return to it. His central is correct though: liberals play nice with the radical left who then always take advantage of their agreeableness.

At this point the only liberal parties in the West are cuckservative parties who interpret Liberal Principles as a reason to essential refuse to govern or refuse to even block absurd legislative overreach (in the UK the Tories have basically a permanent majority but aren’t stopping a hugely unpopular Equality Act). So Liberalism is not a fair-minded system. It’s lopsided to the Left according to Carl and he made his case adequately. While they repeated propaganda about what Liberalism says of itself.

Adam and Stitch were also blatantly not listening to what he said at several points which is incredibly disrespectful of them. And ties into his thesis that they’re giant libtards.

Oh and Adam and Stitch say Liberalism beat Communism. But that isn’t strictly true. Western Europe and America were IMPERIAL PROJECTS as any Communist would tell you. They had a Liberal mythos about themselves but they were actually about themselves first and foremost. Only passing Civil Rights and the 1964 Immigration Act to impress the Third World because the Soviet Union basically said “America so white”.

And their solution, if it can be called that, is that Wokism will always be unprofitable so will lose. An extraordinarily cavalier position that hasn’t worked. The woke get two inches, and the lack of profits pushes them back one inch. A&S say this is victory.

They also just blame Neoliberalism for why Communism looks attractive. Even though America is absurdly rich and most of its problems come from immigrants/blacks (non-ironically)
