Troon lawyer isn't licensed to practice law in Canada, if keffals wants to actually sue she'd have to hire a Canadian firm to do it. Canadian law works a bit differently than US law in regards to civil suits seeking cash damages.

In order for her to sue the LPS for damages she'd have to prove they violated her Charter (Canadian constitution, kind of) rights. The second is also out, they weren't doing it to silence her or get some sort of revenge on her for her activism or worthless political career.

For the third, the only thing she has grounds to sue on would be the misgendering/deadnaming during the initial encounter or being booked. The "guns pointed at her" is standard police procedure in that situation. She wasn't physically injured. She didn't say officers were malicious, just ignorant. The LPS has their outdated computer system to put blame on. There were no cameras there and no proof. If she gets any money award it'll be far, far less than the amount she'd have to spend to get it. The court is liable to see the LPS updated their systems and threw some "how to trans people" powerpoint at officers and be satisfied with that.

My guess is she spoke to lawyers, they told her exactly what I've said here, and she'll go on stream and say she's either banking the funds for her own / trans people's "future legal defense fund" or something nobody has any oversight over. She might claim she's donating it to some trans rights org and it'll go into a black hole like the $200k she helped raise on stream the one time. Her audience will accept that because they're children. I hope she does sue because it'll make her look like Yaniv in her frivolity, but I doubt it.

I think Keffals' silence on the ex is the surest sign that there's some validity to the claims. Otherwise, Keffals would use the fake claims to further disparage Kiwifarms as a legitimate source. Him not acknowledging it at all says to me that he wants to avoid potential bad PR. He could probably twist it so that the ex really was a rapist and evil and everything else, but any amount of eyes on the situation and he'll start to lose his less zealous followers, like that one recent high-tier sub that got banned for disagreeing with Keffals on HRT for kids. There's so advantage to him mentioning it if there's even a kernel of truth.

It could be that there was an actual incident and keffels doesn't want to give the whole situation any attention. So far all we have is a confirmed connection with her (and verification here), and messages directly from keffels telling them to fuck off. That paired with the age difference and the fact that this avocado person insists on throwing in compliments to the person who supposedly falsely accused them of rape... it seems suspect to me.

Of course, keffels is still an unhinged weirdo regardless, so I don't doubt the possibility of a false accusation.
