Related to that, I've been wondering if any of the monkeyfuckers attempted to find a less harmful outlet for their fucked-up urges like fictional shit, or if they just dived straight into real animal torture and international wildlife crime.
(this is gonna be a bit long because I've been meaning to post here since the thread started)
The common thing I've seen from them is that they're all people from backgrounds where a certain level of violence is normalized in some way. So the short answer is that they dove in head-first, but had already been primed for it way before any of this. That's why I'm so surprised at how many people here are surprised by the fact boomers use religion to justify their love of BMT. Using religion (or patriotism. It's the same to them.) to justify violence is a boomer signature move. But, I'm guessing most people here have not been on the receiving end of the boomerlympics.

It's not like where you see people getting exposed to porn as an individual, and gradually transforming. This is a collective. They share it openly, not (just) because they're stupid; but because it wouldn't raise a brow in the majority of their social circles shared by people from their own generation. I really don't know how to further explain the 'normalized' part beyond the fact that they come from settings where violence is just part of the language. This is the generation where "joking" about killing your spouse was oddly elaborate. It's as simple as that.
Boomer women being into it doesn't surprise me one bit. A lot of them have had to keep up a certain kind of performance as a mom, and now, possibly, a grandmom. Lots of decades of having to keep down rage and tolerate things between screaming kids and an unsympathetic husband because 'that's just the way it was' started piling up. They're mostly limited to verbal abuse when it comes to yelling at the customer service clerk. Where it would be normal to understand that parenting is stressful as hell and ask for help or have places to safely vent their frustrations online, boomers come from a time they were just told to suck it up; venting could lead to gaslighting. As we're now in a time where a person can be more open about trauma, mental illness, and more easily seek outlets, these ladies haven't gotten the memo or feel they're past that point. Instead of getting help, or taking, I don't know, a boxing class to vent off those decades of aggression, they find themselves getting immersed in these BMT videos. I can't say they make the connection consciously in their head, but I'm sure something subconscious is going on.
I can guarantee these ladies are watching these videos while working on a "Live, Laugh, Love" diamond painting.
As for the SEA people, the majority of them likely don't see it any different from any other kind of work since it pays out the ass. Without defending any of the VOs, the ones who run the "pet" channels full of feeding and bathing videos come off as more burdened than anything else. I think that's part of why the suspicions about a ring holds more water, especially since some of these "housepet" monkeys have been known to show up on other channels.
As for the full on BMT VOs, I saw note of one person being an alcoholic, and I'm sure he's that way because he got himself into making these videos but is stuck because the money is so easy. There have been exceptions. I'm sure Sakor's name has come up. He and Pochet were full-on sadists.
