There used to be jobs at factories for literal speds where they could sort the nuts/bolts/connectors you get with furniture and things you put together at home and go in those little baggies. The company gets kickbacks from the government and the sped gets a sense of accomplishment and some money. I know that there are still a few of these in some privately owned companies here in the States. I don't know in Leaf Land. They would allow her to sit down because this is for speds after all and they are accomidating. Her behavior wouldn't be too judged because - speds. They have a handler for every 3 speds.
Source - had a family member who had meningitis as a child and was left brain damaged, she worked for over 30 years at one of those companies. It's kinda cool.

But she'd probably fall for one of those scams and lose a shit ton of what little money she's going to have first. Her problem is that she has no coping skills and such a massive ego that she would be a pain in the ass to work with. Any company that does even a basic search, and even smaller companies are, is going to see her online presence and nope right along.

As some familiar with those factory jobs she couldn't do it. Even speds are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. They have to bath/wear clean clothes, use basic manners, stick to a schedule and work steadily. There is no air conditioning a lot of the time. Sperging aside people with literal disabilities, that need job coaches, are more employable than these two

I just realized, I think Chantal thinks her travel cancellation insurance covers her if she just changes her mind. You need to actually provide a valid reason as to why you couldn't travel (normally medical reasons, hurricane, terrorism, etc.). Her health conditions may likely qualify her for ODSP (Ontario disability), which is a bitch to get. People get denied usually, and by the time decisions are appealed and they get approved it’s over a year (to 2 years.) During the application process she may get OW (Ontario works aka welfare.)

Regardless, on ODSP the maximum amount is something like $1179 per month. And they are strict with reporting - any other sources of income, including cash gifts from family, must be reported and are clawed back from benefits.

Imagine Chantal trying to survive on that amount per month. Even if she had a free basement to live in at her uncle’s, she’d never make it.
