He just wants to get plastered, stroke his ego and gamble some money.
Don't even give him the benefit of saying he's gambling. He's throwing money away, losing. There's no chance for him to win back anything but jpegs in a match game. He's not even man enough to be a gambling addict. That would be an somewhat understandable addiction.

I dont know if this goes on this thread, but ill post it here.

Considering that dsp has declared bankruptcy already and his "10 year plan" basically amounts to declare bankruptcy again when able. My question is this:

If he declares bankruptcy again, wont he be penalized in a way or be in a disadvantage because he already declared it beforehand?
Timbo- can you help us out? Was your second bankruptcy any different/harder than the first?

Phil can file for another bankruptcy in like 2 years if it's a Chapter 13 bankruptcy (the payment plan type). If things get really bad I can see him doing this to renegotiate things like his car payment and other debts.
Oh jesus is that the new plan? Monkey bar from one bankruptcy to another? And even before he could get a credit card again...

Over/under how many hours before DSP's first beg-tweet for SuperFollowers?
These companies have to stop putting out items that constantly make Phail sad.
got him fired from doordash
How did they know he did doordash? I thought I saw it was because he told them. Who's fault would that be? Phail is the same. He has to try and flex to his own detriment.

Tevin made fun of him during the John and Howard event and how he handles his "feasting" segments, and how he thinks he's the progenitor of the mukbang (which is specifically a Korean thing that spread.)

Most live eating stuff, the people would eat the food while talking about their day and have a chat with their viewers. It's basically like sitting at a dinner table with a bunch of people and shooting the shit. Phil treats the "feasting" like he's an acclaimed food critic and doesn't talk about anything other than what he's eating. As pointed out, more than likely he and his wife sit in silence whenever they go out to eat. The fuck do they have to talk about?
I'm pretty sure Kat has to hear about his streams all the time, if the water spill is any indication.
He either window shops or buys more useless shit only he can enjoy. He basically revealed that Kat will stay at home when he goes out so they don't even do that together. I don't understand how he even can fathom his marriage is fulfilling when he doesn't even talk to the bitch.
I'm just glad we know WHY she stopped joining him.
Hates drama. Instantly tries to start shit with someone the moment he doesn't get his way.
Big part of it is that Phil is naive, and with EvilAJ not fucking with Phil for a long time, the pigroach undoubtedly started to think he was in the clear. Otherwise, he would've been prepared, like his "100%" comment implies he was. Remember he was shocked that Tevin started dunking on him again, and couldn't make heads or tails of Rich because he would defend and criticize him?

As much as Phil will hold a grudge, it takes very little to fool him into relaxing. AJ just did it, and without even trying to.

Also, this was every bit as much of a desperate extraction method as the PC scam was, and once again, a ghost of his past minorly inconveniences him. Phil is just as salty about being prodded by fate to try harder, as he is about needing to do as much as he has thus far. Life is warning him right now, and I think he feels it.

Going to feel it a lot more soon.
>phil has day off
>run errands
>eat at restaurant
>go home

I find it hard to believe that kat doesn't get sick of this every week.
She may enjoy the routine and predictability, given her past. What I doubt she finds comforting is how much time Phil spends on his phone, especially if she knows about the bank leaks.

He's got to make it 8 years from when he filed his initial Chapter 7 request before he could file for it again since his initial request was granted. As long as he meets the time criteria, then legally nothing would prevent him from filing again.

The true question is would he qualify again. The credit cards and old condo were discharged, so his bills have lowered considerably. He'd either have to show that he's making a considerable amount less than last time, somehow got a large amount of debt again, or Phil can double down and try to say he now has around 8-10k worth of business expenses every month.

I'd laugh if any of those three issues were used to file for bankruptcy again, but if Phil decided to embrace his gacha addiction by then and put it on stream, at least option #3 would make his "business expenses" route seem plausible.

I suspect we're more likely to see the wife file bankruptcy first. I have a feeling she's been loading up on debt DSP promised to pay and isn't. Another reason the bank leaks probably crushed him at home.

Genuine question I been thinking about for awhile. Why, do you think Phil decided to marry Kat? Just to look like a adult who wasn't failing at everything?

Because, he didn't marry Panda for all those years. Yet, he married this lady he knows nothing about. I can guess somewhat why Kat married him just to have someone pay for her life. Before, you could have told me the reason was to have a live in maid but he complains so much about her cooking and based on how he looks the rest of his home probably isn't being cleaned properly. Also, it doesn't seem like she all that interested in spending time with him unless it's going out to eat.

So what exactly does she do for him? I have to be honest I don't care about how much money he makes that's just going towards gin and pulls. The dynamics of Phil's loveless marriage are way more interesting to me.

My guess:
1. To have someone to do his household. Basically a live in maid
2. To squeeze money out of his mother. When he visited them in 2019 he got money from his mother in exchange for a ten year plan (a plan he basically buried under pignosis) And here is my theory he married Khet to convince his mum to give him money.
3. As you stated looking like a matoor adult as many of other first gen let's players have families / loved ones.

Yes, same reason he bought the BMW, same reason he's overpaying for a shitty middle unit khando in a gated community when there's much better options that make better financial sense. Also don't get started on all the games and collectables in his closet.

Everything he does publicly is performative to create an image of success while hiding the gacha addicted alcoholic behind it.

Assuming he's telling the truth about her debt to begin with. I'm skeptical because of the length he goes to keep their finances appearing separated. I'm sure they are, to hide his Champions spending, since it was considerable even before she came into his life, but he over-sells it. Just like he does with his parents, to protect whatever secrets they have.

Phil went from acting oblivious to his age, to trying to lean into it, probably prompted by his failure with his first girlfriend. It's an act, just like so many other things, it just wasn't the same act as before because Phil is slow. Same guy who adopted direct capture a few years late, thought wrestling was real past the age of 18, and had no idea how much Leanna wanted to get pounded. If he had realized how he was supposed to pretend in 2016, we would've had a divorce saga already, and Kat would be wife number two.

and talking about it on stream.
All the other stuff is irrelevant. ^This is what I am getting at.^ If he doesn't go around telling people, no one is the wiser. If both of them are stupid enough to talk about shit on the interwebs, what do they think is going to happen?

I'll add one more: I need a thousand dollars because fuck you you don't know what you're talking about because you're not a real adult with real adult issues and don't know how much it costs to fix a hinge on a kitchen cabinet.
It really is a findom relationship isn't it? They're in a findom relationship with a greasy Polish man who looks like an ogre.

Yes, that's probably it. Phil used to go well out of his way to not look like a nerd or an incel, which he's replaced with his weird anti-sex ultra PC chill clown nonsense for whatever reason.

Why Phil didn't marry Leanna is hard to diagnose. Their relationship was always strange. She insisted they weren't together for many years until Phil bought a house for her. My guess is neither of them wanted to be truly committed as they are both narcissistic shitbags, but were fulfilling roles that each wanted in life (Phil proving a hot daughter was there to fuck, Leanna is a star chaser hunting a sugar daddy). Also, Phil grew very complacent regarding Leanna, which I think is a rare lesson he learned in life, hence desperately flying Kat to the khando, buying everything for her and putting a ring on it ASAP.

I would say that he married her for tax reasons but I think it's been confirmed he still files individually so that can't be a reason.
No, he knew he had to lock em in this time since he wouldn't be able to splurge to court a new horse/bang-maid in the future. I'm still sure that Kat was just looking for a meal ticket and Dave was desperate. Why else would he have to fly someone across the country multiple times instead of just hitting up a dating app and getting some below average basic bitch that was local to him?

I guess there is the remote possibility that their relationship actually has some romantic spark, which would seem contrary to everything we've seen but anything is possible. I mean hell, if Wings can get someone than than surely DSP could.

Why, do you think Phil decided to marry Kat?
He learns slow. In this case he understood he needed to marry Khet in order to keep her from leaving eventually. It was a long term plan maximizing his ability to maintain the lifestyle he was most comfortable with. That of having a woman live in his house and cook for him. He just lucked out in that she doesn't expect a lot from him or like him and doesn't ask too many questions about his Mobile Game spending.

There is a reason Phil is putting off a decision until tomorrow. He's mad that a guy he already hated fucked over a day Phil REALLY needed, so his plan is already to rant for an hour and then waste time until he can pause for some Champions, AKA his break. And then maybe in the late afternoon stream he might touch a controller.

Not to mention that he's never again going to pay his taxes on time. He is already fucked, he just doesn't know it yet.

Which is blatant bullshit. Phil knew damn well that even back then, he was not job material. He's not lying when he says that streaming is his most stable means. It has been rife with problems that he created, but compare that to what his employment record looks like before the internet not only saved him but spoiled him.

This is why I assert Phil to be the type to learn nothing when life finally slaps the taste out of his mouth. He may not know poverty, but he does know what it's like to very briefly see a scary future on the horizon. He never kept a job and couldn't handle a condo without help, and I do not believe he was unfazed by that. I DO believe that now, after all these years of ducking the inevitable, he will get mad, not scared.

He's going to see that he can't play Champions and pay basic bills anymore, and he's going to say "This is bullshit!" instead of get his act together.
thanks for reminding me why i get nono stickers on my dissertations
