Her health conditions may likely qualify her for ODSP (Ontario disability), which is a bitch to get. People get denied usually, and by the time decisions are appealed and they get approved it’s over a year (to 2 years.) During the application process she may get OW (Ontario works aka welfare.)

Regardless, on ODSP the maximum amount is something like $1179 per month. And they are strict with reporting - any other sources of income, including cash gifts from family, must be reported and are clawed back from benefits.

Imagine Chantal trying to survive on that amount per month. Even if she had a free basement to live in at her uncle’s, she’d never make it.

In order to qualify due to health conditions, doesn’t one need documentation and routine follow up notes from doctors that certify she is unable to work? She has never followed up on any dr appointment and I doubt there is a complete medical history showing progression or limitations. She just ignored them and is magically cured.

My understanding as well for income would be that it would be $200 of allowable income and then every dollar earned beyond that on Ontario's disability program would be halved (literally 50%) until she was no longer in financial need and then she would be shuffled off of the program. The maximum I saw recently for people with actual genuine accessibility transit needs for multiple doctor appointments, and medical diet needs is something like 100-125$ a month (for each benefit). It would be less than 1400$ total, and in her application for OW she would likely need to move to prove she was living in a rental situation where her rent was within their allotment (something like 400 a month for rent). She can't even keep a telehealth appointment for her mentulz so she will never be able to navigate these services, and I don't know how all these Ontario deathfats like Sagi end up with ODSP, (I know this process can be circumvented for cases of prolonged hospital stay in psychiatric facilities in some instances) but for the most part it is a year plus ordeal before people even get to the part where they request documentation from their GP to formally apply. Her owing funds on her taxes would also negate any kind of benefits like Trillium or HST rebates as they usually get sucked back up by the CRA to pay your tax debts if not outright disqualify you at a certain point.

DAMN, those poor struggling filters! GORL, get out of natural light. Don't you know smoothing filters have a fuck all time trying to smooth and beautify when your skin is reflecting and textured like that? Not to mention the smeared makeup from who knows how many days that is still all over her face. My first thought was that I didn't remember her having freckles, then I realized those were all blackheads that her filter was TRYING to fix for her.
