Bryan Watkins, 39 performs as “Shannel” at local nightclubs at at Señor Frog’s in Treasure Island on the Las Vegas Strip. He has appeared in RuPaul’s Drag Race Season and RuPaul’s Drag Race: Allstars Season 1.

He was born and raised in California, moved to Las Vegas at 21. He has traveled the world, lived in Seattle, Washington, and Long Beach, California, for years before moving back to Las Vegas in 2016.

When was the first time you performed drag? How old were you. Where did you perform?
The first time I was ever in drag, I was in a Halloween contest that RuPaul was judging in California. I had to have been almost 15 at the time. I went as Cher, and I won the contest. I was approached by a show director and was asked to come perform at an Orange County nightclub (which is no longer there, sadly) and with my parents’ permission, he would pick me up and drop me off from the gig every week. I thought nothing of it. It was fun and fabulous and it really immersed me in the drag culture early on.

The victim should go straight to the cops with video evidence. It is a pretty cut-and-dried case.
The venue might get into trouble by negotiating with the victim too.

"I thought it was a joke" is often how serious crimes start. A dumb mother might see a cross-dressing man twerking at her little boy as "a joke"; before long the little boy would walk with a limp and has blisters and pustules in his nether regions.

As for "Zara Degeneres" something is not authentic there. The account as existed since 2014 (and the ID number, for those interested, is 2564661739) but no tweets are up from before this week. Before they woke up and started obsessing about abortion and "MAP" issues in August 2022, they followed people who spoke Malay or Indonesian, and bands from that part of the world:

One of their few old mutuals is this guy who might actually be the controller of the account (I have noticed this pattern) :


So it seems to be some kind of foreign troll account but for what purpose? Who knows.

Interesting. Yeah, this makes a lot more sense.

Like I'm totally willing to believe people like this who are working for San Fran Public Schools would say things that are similar in spirit to this. But this literally? Smells off.

I don't think the overton window has shifted that far yet. Give it another six months though.
