Edit: one more, I'm sure anybody who uses tumblr regularly knows about the blog sixpencee, who is an absolute mess of pseudo-edgelord shit from 2006, media masterposts, and other assorted garbage. They are ridiculously popular.

Actually, Tumblr HATES sixpenceee for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to "scary stories about the mentally ill".

Some love her, some hate her. Some hate her for stealing content, others for the mental illness shit, others because her content is entry-level creepypasta. But she is enormously popular, almost all of her posts get tens of thousands of notes.

No joke, in middle school my history teacher gave us a paper with this exact text word-for-word and even then we thought it was stupid. That was in...2006.
