That's just so many rocks they managed to unearth there.. Both with the article and their little terra farming experiment. Dude, you clearly don't need Google earth pulled up to see the damage they did. Just.. Use your sensible little hsts eyes and gaze upon the trash, decay and animal neglect.

Also, which of you fucks apparently and supposedly flew that drone and didn't upload the footage? A disgrace.

I know this is effectively a triple post but this article is great
Amazing scenes. That was actually pretty well observed, from everything we know. A few incorrect statements from the Tranchers went uncorrected, but almost stand out as an invitation for readers to do their own research.

I can’t imagine that will have gone down at all well at the Tranch.

Stanley's mood has visibly soured, and she whispers to Logue that it's time to go home, rather than to the flag-burning party [WHAT??] they'd originally planned to hit next.

"Not to worry, we can do that any day of the week," Logue says, while packing up her stuff.

This is incredible. Thanks Business Insider! And @AirdropShitposts for bringing it.

So Kiwifarms now owns a drone? Is it a Bayraktar?
Yes, we do own a number of drones and they are usually available to surveil any lolcow you want for 45 Brave tokens an hour. Currently all drones are searching Canada for keffals so you can't rent one to take pictures of the moon-scape known as the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch.

This is an excellent piece of journalism purely because it takes the piss out of them in a way that can't be demonstrably proven. There's an emphasis on talking about what the Tranchers "say", along with follow ups - implying that they're making it up without outright stating it.

Even their description of Kiwifarms is pretty on the level - besides "violent revenge fantasies" it just observes that we mostly mock their appearance (as many of their readers probably are doing, looking at the photos) and accuse them of animal abuse (which the alpaca photos also serve to do).

Good to know that there's officially only four tranchers left, and the trailers are just for guests.

"People say" is a standard media sleight-of-hand trick to avoid lawsuits. If the article says "Bob Saget raped and killed a girl in 1990", that's could be legally actionable. If the article says "PEOPLE SAY Bob Saget raped and killed a girl in 1990", it's TECHNICALLY true that people say that, even if it was the editor and the writer who personally made it up for clickbait.

Or so people say.

The "violent fantasies" are just us reposting the Tranch social media.
Also no mention of Alpacaschwitz, just "derogatory names"? shamefur.

And Jesus fucking christ. Business Insider?
"Ok so yes there was no police report, and we won't let you talk to the person who said it happened... but it was totally real guys honest"
Zero doubt, just smiling and nodding.

This is incredible.
I'm actually kinda surprised there's enough true and honest "anarchists" in the area to even have a "flag burning party" unless they traveled pretty far for it. (Or it was a pathetic small gathering of Tranch like people which is likely no matter what.) I would assume most of the Democrats in the area are closer to Joe Manchin than Joe Stalin so flag burning parties against the Joe Biden Regime would seem pretty uncommon.

Looks like Boner has been erased from the founding story arc. Isn’t that whitewashing history against a marginalized POC?
I don't know, but it leaves some pretty large gaps in their history. Because HE'S FAT.
The "violent fantasies" are just us reposting the Tranch social media.
I'll owe up to saying that I have suggested that the place will burst into flames multiple times and that would be a good thing insurance wise, and possibly a good release for Kevin and Jen's sad lives. And that I'm ready for troon Waco - but really, when they scream and wave guns at everything, I feel like I can be forgiven for it.

I'm guessing they're just bored young people with an edgy vendetta against their parents if anything. Otherwise, I believe they would be driving far too. A party can be 5 people or under.

Imagine if one of the locals organized a burning of tranny and antifa flags. It would be a "literal holocaust/genocide".
I would bet all that happens in retaliation is them starring intensely, looking "menacing" with guns, and calling the police on them as often as possible. You know, true revolutionary style.

I dunno man, they way they wrote it, it’s got to sound incredibly flimsy to all but the most credulous. I think intentionally. See also the alpaca teeth photos.

And the kiwifarms comments were pretty even handed too - no “transphobic far-right hate forum”. I’ll take “petty criticism”. I bet it’s caused a fair few visits to the thread.

Amusingly in reference to the not 4th of July party they link to one of Kevin's tweets.

There's scant details on what that flag burning party is, but I assume the lesbian couple and the chair of the tourism board (the only guests mentioned) were also invited given Jarrod suddenly wanted to skip it, unless he's so petulant that meeting a politician makes him act out like a toddler who needs to be taken home (which is a real possibility).

Possibly it's something to do with the seemingly-local seed cooperative that he's part of? From what we've seen they're very "radical gardening" but not as fedposty as Jarrod and Penny calling for armed resistance a la Malcolm X (feel free to start the Black Tranthers, guys! Oh you won't? You just wanted to shit on a very left wing politician for being part of the "system"? As you were).

I also missed this little moment:
A few of the residents are relaxing in the cluttered living room... Nonbinary, agender, and lesbian pride flags have been tacked onto the walls of the dome-shaped ranch house. A rifle is resting on an end table, beside the couch.

Stanley, who's 28, is sitting at the dining table, while Logue searches for a coffee cup from a pile of unwashed dishes.
They're really painting a picture for the uninitiated.

Wait, where’s the part about how Earl(s) pissed himself/themselves, running off into the night? That was the best detail!

dropped-guns.jpeg
Lol, this part always irritated me the most since it's such a blatant lie or exaggeration. So these terrifying, violent local fascists that have been sending you death threats finally decide to trespass onto your property (while armed!), but they're also so incompetent & cowardly that they flee at the first sight of a Trancher. And they even do some cartoon skit of dropping their weapons while scrambling to run away, turning back to oafishly pick up their guns, and finally beating an undignified retreat.

What was the guard doing this whole time? Didn't want to shoot, didn't try to detain or identify the intruders, didn't secure the dropped guns, and didn't even try to prevent the intruders from picking those guns back up? A likely story. 🙄 Not even a mention of how the intruders escaped (was there a vehicle? what kind?).
And of course, this incident was never reported to the police, and the Tranchers never said who this guard was.

I decided to check back on the timeline of this fascist attack...

It all seems to have started here. Keep in mind that they had a GoFundMe active this whole time.
On March 3rd/4th 2021, Penny, Bonnie, and Josie started acting antsy on Twitter because of rumors that the local fascists were up to no good.
1.png2.png3.png4.png
Late night on March 4th, Josie says reporters for 9 News who did a story on the Tranch were sent a death threat letter.
6.png
Early morning on March 5th, Penny mentions patrolling the ranch because of death threats.
5.png
Midday on March 5th, Kevin & Jen mention the death threat sent to the reporters, as well as an "envelope of powder". Kevin shills their GoFundMe. Thankfully, someone archived their GFM on March 5th. They were at $11.5k out of their $100k goal. The GFM had been running since August of 2020.
7.jpg
Early morning on March 5th, Jen says the powder was "food additive and an irritant", possibly "citric or tartaric acid". Kiwifarmers start questioning if this is a Jussie Smollett situation. They can't find anyone else talking about this in the Tranch's local community.
11.png
Sometime on March 5th, Bonnie weighs in. He says they're on high alert because of tips/warnings from locals (I guess we're supposed to believe that the fascists were blabbing their violent plans to neighbors, who then told the Tranchers). He also mentions "trucks trailing us", death threats to associates of the Tranch, and "powdered acid" sent to Katie Eastman of 9News.
Bonnie claims the FBI are investigating the powder sent through the mail. Penny postures about how he'll shoot intruders on sight. This whole situation seems to be developing at a bizarrely fast pace.
8.png9.png10.png
At 8pm on March 5th, Kevin shills their GoFundMe again. He talks about how it's been "scary" because the Tranchers have been stalked, sent death threats online, and had strangers surveilling their property. A very weird, sudden escalation in their claims. Earlier they were mainly talking about death threats sent to the reporters...
12.png
Early morning on March 6th, THIS IS IT. Bonnie casually says they had intruders the previous night (the night of March 5th? so probably only a matter of hours after that last Kevin tweet). Bonnie says the "security" (I guess a Tranch guest? nice plausible deniability) didn't shoot the intruders because they didn't want to risk hitting the neighbors... ??
No mention of the intruders dropping their guns, and actually, it sounds like they didn't even come onto the Tranch (wording: "try to breach our property line"). Strange wording, since I don't even think the Tranch's fences were built yet at this time. Did they just see someone off in the distance, possibly a neighbor patrolling their own property?
13.png14.png
Funny side-note, Kiwifarmers notice that Kevin seems to be off in his own little world. He keeps coom-posting and talking about hanging out with a friend. Meanwhile, the rest of Tran Ranch is UNDER SIEGE, UNDER LOCKDOWN.
On March 8th, Kiwifarmers spot a brand-new, totally not suspicious Twitter account fedposting in Kevin's replies. Very conveniently gives the Tranchers "death threats" they can point to, and the anonymous account stops tweeting after that day.
15.png16.png17.png
Also on March 8th, Penny announces that the Tranch is under attack by local bigots & militia. He says they have encroached on the Tranch's property while armed, intending to harm the Tranchers. Penny begs for help and financial support. Very interesting to contrast this with what Bonnie said the previous day.
18.png19.png
To wrap it up, Kevin starts following Penny's lead in claiming that armed bigots had trespassed on the Tranch. He then shills their GoFundMe. By March 10th, the GFM reached $48.5k. Remember that it was only at $11.5k on March 5th, and that was accumulated over 6+ months. This GFM went on to earn a total of $117k.
20.png
I think it's pretty obvious that the Tranchers were lying/exaggerating for the grift. Maybe there are some grains of truth in there somewhere (I really want to know the story behind the supposed death threats and citric acid powder sent to a reporter, since I doubt the Tranchers would invent that wholesale), but it seems clear to me that Penny latched onto the story and blew it up out of greed - possibly paranoia as well.

After reading this all again, I think if there was an "intruder", it was just one of the Tranch's neighbors out walking around on their own land, maybe near the Tranch's property line. A Tranch guest happened to see them and got spooked. Same thing with the story about a drone spying on them - probably just a neighbor using a drone to check out their own property. That's pretty common for ranch owners.

Hey, uh, wait a fucking second - didn't Fedposter J move in after the attack? I can't remember the timeline well enough but I'm fairly sure he wasn't living there at the time.
Nah, he was there. He joined the Tranch in late 2020.

Hell of a detective work there friend.

I remember that they had a “security volunteer” who was a non-troon possibly ex forces tough guy. He was discussed in the thread and also showed up in a podcast at some point. I wonder if he was involved with the whole invasion story. I’ll have a search later if nobody else posts it first.

That might have been the Fedposter himself. He's appeared on the podcasts as J, a security/permaculture expert and didn't start trooning out until much later.

When the Boy Scouts are having a flag retirement ceremony, they'll usually have a blurb in the "Activities" section of the paper, inviting the public to take down the faded US flags from their home flagpoles and RVs and bring them in to be retired as well.

Obviously, this is "retired" in the Blade Runner sense, but everyone's respectful and somber about it.

By no means am I suggesting that the Tranch had a game of Telephone and was about to crash a Boy Scout flag ceremony, but man, that would have been great.

(I really want to know the story behind the supposed death threats and citric acid powder sent to a reporter, since I doubt the Tranchers would invent that wholesale),
Thank you for the timeline; it's always hard to pin Troon Time to actual dates.

I agree with you: I really, really want to know more about the powder-in-the-mail incident. There's a reporter involved; it seems like that would be such an easy thread to follow up if you were doing an article about the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch and wanted to get some non-troon, non-"hostile" voices. You know where a reporter works and you can leave her a voicemail, you know she'll face the right camera and get you some footage.

Plus, a reporter wouldn't have any reason not to involve the police, if they got potential anthrax in the mail. If it was mailed to her care of the station, she might not have had a choice about reporting it; businesses are usually pretty strict about their terrorism/death threads policy. (And if it were sent through the mail, well.)
