Being able to collab without needing approval, not having a manager scolding her for talking about whatever she likes, not having to jump through corporate hoops for game permissions etc. "freedom" doesn't have mean she wanted to revolutionize her content, it can just mean she didn't want to deal with the baggage and oversight personally.

In the current situation her Manager is her staff not a companies, it's someone to relegate responsibilities to, not someone standing over her shoulder and telling her "don't do that, that's against company policy" because she herself is "the company" in that relationship. the dynamic I would say is more like how A-chan was for Sora in her early days, with A-chan being Sora's support, not her tard wrangler.

Since joining Vshojo that manager has also been hired by Vshojo but as far as anything we know the power dynamic between Kson and that manager has remained the same. Vshojo simply brought Kson's staff on board as well.

I mean certainly I'm not pitching it or giving my observations on it as a matter of a quality assessment of her content or her current associations. Whether or not you or I find the content to be an upgrade or a downgrade is a matter of personal opinion.

I just mean to say that I can see how she might find that work enviroment more enjoyable and rather just not deal with the bureaucracy of being in a corpo. And at the end of the day even if her viewership has dipped, when she's not having to do any form of revenue share still even with Vshojo, she can still be completely financially comfortable with enough extra on top to dump thousands into tech and toys to play with in her content.

I totally understand the position of an old fan being lukewarm or uninterested now that she doesn't have the holo interactions and thinking some of her content falls flat without it. I just also understand that it can still be from her POV, a better situation for herself.

Who knows maybe Kson and ex menhenra can somehow flip Vshojo or make VshojoJP a more interesting branch than the original.

If that’s the case then getting a few notable indies in would be the next move. We have Kagura Nana whom makes some artwork for them and rumor to join or get the degenerate like Kagura Mea on the train.

She does indeed, who has her own Twitter. But I'll be honest, her manager does seem to work her ass off considering all the sponsorship and merchandise deals she's been able to get kson. Granted, those aren't as grand as the Hololive ones but they're much more frequent in number. Compare that to some of the managers that EN has who can't even be bothered to ask for game permissions. And does stupid shit like waiting on them to pile up before telling the members they could have been playing new games for months.

Her indie run was pretty uneventful outside of an attempt to make her own indie support group which didn't really go anywhere. Her current Vshojo activity is mostly getting a bunch of new models and testing out some 3D stuff while helping Nazuna out (her Nazuna Collabs have been reminiscent of her Coco teaches Holo members swears Collabs).

Noel playing Majora again in a couple hours. She's got Ikana Canyon and the Stone Tower Temple on the plate this time. For those of you who didn't or haven't watched Subaru's Majora playthrough (which I recommend because her fight against Majora is one of the most intense and entertaining ones I've ever seen), Subaru took about 20 minutes to beat the Great Bay Temple boss. It took Noel almost 90 minutes to beat the same boss. So I am somewhat concerned for how long it will take her to get through Stone Tower Temple.

Honestly that's the one reason I think that particular rrat has any life at all. To paraphrase Sakana in his interview with Lumi and Yuri, he stated that they were delayed for an unspecified reason he wasn't willing to get into, and due to that delay the money he had spent on rush art commissions and rushed asset procurement had ended up be a waste, and that there was no way of him knowing of the event that caused the delay and no way to avoid it.

However I have yet to catch a trace of a Ukrainian accent, nor use of idioms common to the region, most Native Eastern European speakers have distinct accents when speaking English. I like Panko, she doesn't filter me like Remi does, so I will continue to watch her streams waiting for a gamer rage, jump scare or similar incident where she curse in her native tongue, or uses a idiom that is very specific to a region. In fact I just my pose a couple questions to her in chat that use region specific idioms and see if she bites on one without an explanation needed.


Edit: I guess I watch the pon wolf mald, since the rabbit is getting a much deserved rest. I'm amazed that she actually got through the Tarkov that collab without dropping it for zatsudan and kept the interview more of less on track and interesting, though the tangents they went on were amusing.

you're right that it's mostly Japanese game companies that are this autistic about permissions, but Hololive's paranoia because of the JP companies brought the permission woes unilaterally. People regularly ask Moona about modded minecraft and she's explained several times that it's a permissions issue with hololive. So from that perspective Kson not needing to worry about those permissions to the same degree in Vshojo (with the mod stuff being an easy to point to example that she's less bound by permissions now than she was under hololive and I don't know of any examples of her declining to play a game over permissions as a counterpoint to that) The move has offered her greater freedom in the game department.

I think people basically set her up for failure. She was painted as some sort of saviour that came and revolutionized the Vtubing world and that once the chains were off, she would do the same. The only reason she revolutionized the scene is because she pushed against the established rules. Those rules are not really there for her to push back against now. As for her content being the same. Why would she change the formula? There is no reason for her to change unless something big happens.

Green Fish that wants you to educate yourself and Purple gay guy (not the one that sounds black, the other) are playing League. According to his debut, he used to be a Challenger. While I havent played the game in about 6 months, im a bit of a league fag so Im gonna watch. So far he started basically explaining to chat how the game works and it was not bad. Then the fish joined and they started interacting with each other and my interest went down.
