It's good for people to admit that their policy interests are simply because they hate other people being able to do things they want to and just state that they want to force everyone to live how they want.

I find it refreshing that he can admit this rather than trying some spiel about how actually this will be good for them or attempting some kind of compromise where 99% of people will live in the pods because of how superior it is and the few people who still want to live in the rural areas can use a handful of cars still. NO, HE SAYS! ALL MUST COMPLY! NO CHOICES!

Also, if you're proposing giving generous grants to live in the cities I'm going to suddenly want to live in a rural area and need to be convinced to move back.
