In many regards Trisha was a dry run for what would happen if Hila left him. I'm not suggesting for a second that Hila is anyway comparable to the BPD maelstrom that us Trisha, I mean more it shows Ethan's playbook - feign taking the high road while simultaneously whining non stop. I'm completely serious when I speculate that it's feasible that at least part of Ethan's impotent and embarrassing incel-esque rage stems from the fact that Hila regularly cucks him.

I believe it's self-evident that Hila has far more leeway in dictating the conditions of their relationship, at least as far as looks and parenthood go, with a touch of the ever-present hypergamy of women. Like any lolcow, Ethan is hilariously enough always about his own ego, of which he is completely undeserving. Because of this, I believe he would accept the pathetic state of being cucked by Hila, under the condition that Hila ostensibly stay with him in exchange for monetary gain, whilst also having Hila keep her horsemouth shut over the fact, thus saving his paltry "pride".
