You're both slightly off in some regards. Ireland has both a Taoiseach (equiv of a Prime Minister) as well as a President.

However the gay Taoiseach was Leo Varadkar who hasn't been in office since June 2020. The current Taoiseach Micheal Martin is happily married (to a woman).
The President is some hobbit looking fucker who brings his dog to tv interviews
