I'm not okay whit any of the harassment that Phil had to endure, doing a negative action on a negative person doesn't automatically generate a positive result or is morally justified. A lot of people here are fine whit committing heinous act because Phil is objectively a terrible human and my post was to question the purpose of their actions. I would say most of the people on kiwifarms disagree whit me since my post got an overwhelming amount of downvote. And yes people should stop effing whit the Youtube system, it is already going in a downward spiral whit all the war on information and hate speech and we don't need more tards adding oil to the fire.

Anyway I took it he isn't sticking up for Phil but rather he sees parallels between himself and how people talk about Phil, the people wanting to deplatform him and this site, bare in mind he pretty much can't use any payment processor, he can't make money as any normal person can and even in a round about way they still get him with his efforts with the patches and coins. If this is true @Null I don't think you should liken yourself to Phil, those who hate you and those on this thread are not the same. Moonrocker I think you misunderstand the argument. I am not a Null cheerleader, but I think the thrust of the critique comes from users acting gay. Gayops requires gay tactics, its in the name. Why do some users on this board insert themselves into the DSPverse by provoking Susan, not one month after most of the good detractor and clip channels got banned/yeeted by the same method? KF is about watching drama, not actively influencing it.

Well, the issue could have been handled in a better way. I get that Josh is stressed out with other problems, but my suggestion is to compose a policy message regarding forum rules on gay-ops. Basically a corporate-style reminder that one can copy+paste when the issue comes up. Any questions about it can be addressed by the mod staff. Of course, it can be edited to fit the situation. Easy and quick with no emotional investment.

He's not taking advantage of anyone. He is saying "if you give me money, my financial situation will be better, and I can keep making video game content." His fans give him that money not because they think it goes to any specific purpose, but because it keeps the video content coming.

If you're going to take this route and say: "his audience is stupid and literally too dumb to stop themselves, so he should be banned," then you've got some much bigger fish to fry. How about those phone gacha games that Phil plays? Don't you think that their abusive reward mechanics are more dangerous and genuinely taking advantage of people with impulse control issues? If you're so anti-deplatforming and pro free-speech, why do you host dox info on your site? One of the potential consequences of a dox is the loss of a job by the victim if what they've said doesn't jive with their employer. You're enabling the very people who want to police the internet by providing a platform for this information to be shared. There's literally lists upon lists of random DSP fans in another thread with employers, contact info, family members, etc.

Don't pretend to be a bastion of morality when you run a site like this.
