Notice they all just assume this plan of calling CF transphobic is going to work because it always has in the past. Even when Keffals lied about being assaulted and hounded by transphobic cops the police were very quick to release a statement assuring everyone all their officers go through intense pronoun sensitivity training.

So there's some context to the term. It's even more fucked up than it appears on the surface.

Individuals with DSDs (disorders/differences of sexual development, historically called "intersex") in the past used to be subjected to surgical correction if they had abnormal genitalia. Usually the genitalia was healthy, just shaped a bit funny. (sometimes malformed gonads can become cancerous, but that's a separate issue)

So in the past, in a good faith attempt to normalize the genitals, surgeons would chop stuff up. This was from a more primitive time in medicine. So for example, a female exposed to too much testosterone had an overlarge clitoris that the surgeons would "trim down". Basically FGM, chop their clit in half.

Thus came those terms AFAB/AMAB. They were surgically "assigned" a sex. It was brutal shit.

That's what these troons are comparing themselves to. Brutal mutilations done by primitive medical doctors trying to fit children with unfortunate medical conditions into rigid boxes.

In troonworld, that's totally the same thing as "uwu i'm a pretty princess on the inside, AMAB~~~"
