Both of those things are against the rules of the forum, one of them being actually illegal and the other bordering on illegal depending on severity. No one on the forum has claimed responsibility for either of those things. We have nothing to change.

Good to see we are in agreement so you’re saying those involved are just dragging Kiwifarms into this to divert blame away from themselves?
 
We’ve had to deal with a lot of off and on problems in the past 24 hours. The quicker we start demanding and endorsing change here the better. We can still be at our best even at our worst.

I know lolcows are this sites bread and butter so I’m not going to suggest that. What you say is why a direct link to the suicide prevention lifeline should be posted up top.

Also this is still a thing on Twitter, where only 88,000+ members here so how do we deal with this in the short term?

I don't think a website alone is responsible for something like the suicide of someone tho, I thought you were in favor of Free Speech
 
We can all agree that what has occurred is either an intended or unintended Streisand effect bringing negative attention to the site. Even if these things never originated here they’ll point here if there members and in contact with eachother off site. We don’t control what members do off site while other platforms are trying to do that. One thing is clear, we do have greater control of what members do when they stay on site.
