OK. So another Philbert saga has begun.

How do you think this one is going to end? I have 4 ways in mind that it could possibly come to a conclusion:

1. The channel gets taken down and he ends up in the basement at his parents' house
2. Channel gets taken down and he moves to KOGaming
3. He goes and streams somewhere else
4. He weasels his way out of this like the subhuman cretin that he is

I know everyone is giggling in anticipation, but I personally think he'll get out of this one. Thoughts?

Phil can't stop streaming at this point. He is completely unemployable outside of entry level positions. He will find a way to carry on because there is no other option.

The only thing that will ever "stop" Phil is the handful of paypigs either croaking or losing whatever monthly check allows them to donate.

This dude is probably one of the most miserable motherfuckers on the planet. I bet homeless people feel they have a brighter future.

Saying that he had 2 strikes already was dumb choice. He’s just asking for a anther strike. But maybe that’s part of dsps 5d chess to get more pity donos

I personally feel like even though he said that, he's bullshiting. He's probably talking about COMMUNITY strikes. He would be shitting himself if he got actual copyright strikes, but who knows?

You really have to say something nasty to get a community strike. Saying fag or trannie doesn’t warrant a strike YouTube just doesn’t care. You can say all kind of racist shit like LTG does and he’s fine

Pretty much, YouTube is far more slack in regards to forcing its policy around "hateful kantent" compared to twitch, because of how the system is automated and its way of searching certain types of unwanted material being a system run by bots and maybe some reports here and there that add to the equation, but it normally takes a lot of manual reports to get things taken down that breach any sort of policy, which is why Phil has mostly been safe throughout his YouTube career, barring a few bumps in the road.

Unless of course, you're someone like that Britbong/Superhound individual (that if you're dedicated and competent at framing a false digital identity) can fill out multiple pages of copyright forms, framing numerous channels for breaching YouTube's policy (or just DCMA) and getting entire channels taken down that way with no legal recourse from the breached channel.

Even if you try to counter claim the claimant, you can't because the information is illegitimate and it leads nowhere, at that point YouTube has no middle man to work something out if that user is running a false identity and your channel is gone, because it leads to no road and YouTube has no authority at that point because how could they be sure someone is using illegitimate information if they were able to successfully go through the claiming process just like everybody else? They can't be sure, and I'm not ever sure they thoroughly check things like this.

My tinfoil hat theory is he didn't get a copyright strike, but some other claim and he's just calling it a strike because strike sounds more dramatic. It might be someone issued a copyright claim, which can eventually be elevated to a strike, but is ultimately less severe. Basically, if this one random article I googled is still relevant, claims result in that portion of the video being muted, but the video also gets demonitized and future ad revenue it generates goes to whoever made the claim.

If it is a strike, enjoy the salt, but don't treat this as a death knell for Phil, he'll jump ship to Twitch (again). I imagine that's what this backup plan is he keeps mentioning. Not saying it's a win for him or anything, just don't want people being disappointed when this doesn't end in him being homeless.

4. Phil weasels out but I predict we'll see a few streams get interrupted with the Black Youtube Screen of Death due to copyright infringement, which will just lead to Phil making drama streams and more support.

I'm also pretty sure this is what happened.

Does anyone know when he supposedly got the first strike? I don't remember anything recent and it seems like something he'd rant about because when has Phil ever been able to keep quiet about something. If I'm not mistaken (or using outdated information) strikes are cleared after 90 days as long as you don't get more, so the first has to be semi-recent, if these are strikes and not one of the many other claims that YouTube seems to have.

I honestly think he's making it all up but I think it may have been last night? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

DSP is the embodiment of squeaky wheel gets the grease. He will whine and complain to YouTube until they just reverse it to get rid of him.
