Finnish does have gendered language, it’s within the preceding and following words to a subject.

It’s subtle though and pretty much impossible to get completely fluency unless you are born to it or grow up speaking from infancy.

I know it has been touted as an example of a gender free language, but it’s a lot to do with it being a language spoken by a very isolated population with little influence from outside sources.

It has a unique way of expressing, for instance, the word for boyfriend or girlfriend is actually translated to English closer as “one I don’t hate as much as the others”.
