Bit of an aside, I hate the psy-op that letting your hair grow out when the Norwood Reaper is in hunting season is "bad" and you should just "shave it all off dude". Like they always say for your typical incel, it's not about the hair you (don't) have, it's how you wear it and how secure you are in your stage of balding.

Name me a Norwood Vertex and I'll show you a celeb that made it work. Even the likes of Stewart and Connery kept a thin band of hair around the sides of their head, and they didn't look that bad all things considered.

Shower me in rainbow stickers but I legitimately hope that every single person who participated in that livestream finally takes a hit to their reputation because of this. It didn't take a genius to figure out back then that Mermaids was sketchy as hell, it's 100% all their faults, so much as a cursory amount of critical thinking could have prevented it.

After reading the article i have to say this is 100% not going to happen .

What happened is very bad it isnt cancel everyone involved bad which makes me think glinner made a mistake by writting such a horny article about something that isnt that much big of deal..
The controversy is about them hiring a pedo right? if they fired him and didnt do something stupid to defend him as an organization i think they're safe

If you're talking about Mermaids, then no, the scandal is much bigger than that and the British public at large are very angry about it. Even TRAs are cautious about jumping in to defend them at the moment. I don't think the organization is going to survive, at least not in its current state. They may carry on as a counselling group but everything they do will be heavily scrutinized and I'm sure they won't have access to children. Effectively they're finished - Tavistock 2.0.

Hbomberguy et al. could double down and say "Mermaids is just suffering from a transphobic backlash, I was completely right to support them, let's keep that donation money flowing in, etc, etc," but I really doubt he'll/they'll do that. I don't think he has the balls. He's just going to quietly let people forget about it and move on. Unless even more damaging shit about Mermaids comes to light (which is entirely possible) I think he can probably just ride this one out.

Fair enough then, in my quick search i only found the pedo guy stuff.

That being said i still think no one who was present at that stream will be affected by this , 3 years is just too much time in internet years and they could just say something like "it was good back then so sad it's bad now"
or not mention it at all
