If the CIA can walk away with no consequences for Iraq then the FBI will too.
The excuse they will use is that FBI experts (now retired) and private ones agreed that the documents seemed fake.

Unless I'm misunderstanding something it's not the FBI who can get sued for this, it's Facebook/Meta - and I'm fairly certain the Zuckbot cannot get off as easily as the glowmasters.

Can we just list Hispanics as two or more races by default? For fuck sake basically every single Mexican (excluding a very tiny minority of the top of the Mexican elite which aren't even coming to the US) is mixed. Why complicate something that could be so simple? Hispanics have never been considered white by Americans. Not in 1900 and not in 2022. So annoying.

that's not how that works. that's an explicit admission by the head of a private company that his company was acting as a direct agent of the federal government in violating people's first amendment rights. they then get charged as if they were the government, and they then can't hide behind muh private company spiel. Yes, that's generally not enough to win outright, but that may he enough to survive an mtd, and then they'll need to deal with discovery.
