The 2nd YouTube "False Kahpyright Strikes" saga has begun (again)

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
isn't this the exact same way Jackie Chinn got him years ago? How does he not learn any lessons? I know there for a while he stopped using fan submitted stuff because of it.

either way, it'll be a nothing burger and he'll probably make a nice profit off it.
It was fan art, not an intro, but essentially yes.

Yeah and did he do this same shtick of using it a way to beg for more money?
You already know the fucking answer to this.

@KingjadVCMP
They already told you, but this is how it usually looks when a video is private (an example, currently):

"Learning from it" would mean Phil either doing these intros himself or paying someone to do them.

That ain't happening chief.

Legit the dude wants a big blowout before he goes back to Twitch, that's the base level of all this and his hinting that he's got a backup plan. My guess is he's banking on making Affiliate with a quickness, hoping some tards forget to turn off their YouTube memberships, and try to muscle his way back into that algorithm because it used to keep him safe.
The fact that he's hinted multiple times he has a backup plan is why I'm mashing X to doubt. Phil thinks he's a master manipulator, who subtly weaves these intricate plans to trick dents and detractors alike. In reality, he's the most obvious person in the world. There's a reason things always seem to break or bills come up just before his day off where he wants more going out and spending money. Or his "I heard X" about games he's "considering" playing when he really doesn't want to.

Him saying he has a "backup plan" is just more of that. Phil never thinks more than a few days ahead for a channel, but all of a sudden he's planning contingencies? It feels like this is just an excuse to drum up drama and eventually make the switch back to Twitch.

My tinfoil hat theory is he didn't get a copyright strike, but some other claim and he's just calling it a strike because strike sounds more dramatic. It might be someone issued a copyright claim, which can eventually be elevated to a strike, but is ultimately less severe. Basically, if this one random article I googled is still relevant, claims result in that portion of the video being muted, but the video also gets demonitized and future ad revenue it generates goes to whoever made the claim.

If it is a strike, enjoy the salt, but don't treat this as a death knell for Phil, he'll jump ship to Twitch (again). I imagine that's what this backup plan is he keeps mentioning. Not saying it's a win for him or anything, just don't want people being disappointed when this doesn't end in him being homeless.
I think you're right that it's a lie to cover up the reality. For example when he was removed from the partnership program he claimed it was because he said hateful slurs, but the email he read aloud initially made it clear it was due to content licensing agreements from the partnership agreement. This time it's actually about hateful slurs (since we know tons of spergs on Discord, Twitter, the Farms main thread, and Reddit are reporting him for hateful slurs using PPG) but he's going to claim it's copyright because if he says it's ToS strikes he can't claim to be a perfect innocent person who Susan is a personal fan of.

  • Related to that, another particularly embarassing part for phil was his constant admitting to begging and scamming his audience until he can refinance his house, which shows that he has no real financial plan and is just gonna accrue as much debt as possible before declaring bankruptcy again. That was a particularly poor thing to admit to his fans
Do you remember when this was so I can go watch it? Like was it first or second stream, was it during gameplay, after, before during podcast, etc?
The only really interesting thing would be if he somehow lost monetization on YouTube. Even though his new videos do dogshit for views, he has so many old ones that he has passive income totaling a few thousands just from older videos alone. If he suddenly lost $3000-$4000 (check @Piece of Peace's spreadsheet) a month, he would actually be in some shit, because he wouldn't have that lump "pay for all my actual bills" sum coming in on a known date each month.
Honestly he may have some shit going on, or just as likely he's just making a fuss over nothing since he KNOWS people are reporting him but is too dumb to realize these would be community guideline strikes, not copyright strikes. The only thing that makes me lean towards him faking or playing up something is he kept saying he didn't know if he could go live, but he didn't bother just push the fucking button to see. That's playing it up. If he couldn't stream he'd know, and he was able to but pretending like it could go down at any minute. He was happy to be able to talk about this instead of gamescom because he knows jack shit about games but he's great at repeating himself and self victimizing over imagined persecution. If these people's strikes and reports landed, he wouldn't be on YT at all, but he's accidentally teflon in this case apparently.

What are the chances we get an emergency begcon 5 stream on Phil’s Day Off (TM) if he gets more strikes today?

Half assed strikes (assuming they aren't made up) are stupid, he will just farm victim status from it and get way more money and sympathy. Either go big and take his channel down with sustained attacks or don't do it at all.

Since so many "detractor" channels are monetized now it ain't happening anyway, they need his content to make money.

Isn't he just falsely claiming people reporting him for hateful slurs is DMCAs or is this different?
He's claiming that these strikes are false and completely illegal and trolls are just trying to get him kicked off youtube. He's claiming that these strikes are on 10 year old videos when he was depressed dood! However the strikes are actually for his old prestream podcast intro from Feb - March of this year, and afaik, they are legit. The strikes are from some guy called "Ray Collins" Kingjad has a video about it here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vdnSWh9EZs&t=134s
Since getting these strikes Phil has deleted these videos from his channel in order to prevent further strikes. But he's sitting on stream lying as usual.

Didnt he say on day stream that one strike stuck, so he has one now? I was only half paying attention, anyone can confirm?
