For a third time in a row, Ultracon will be having Vic Mignogna as a guest:

Ultracon Weeb Wars History
Vic Mignogna was invited to the convention in 2020:
The convention was originally going to take place during the weekend of March 29-30, 2020.
However, the COVID lockdowns forced the convention dates to be pushed back to August 29-30, 2020:
On August 25, 2020, Mignogna tweeted the announcement of him being a guest at the convention:
Mignogna also had an announcement to make there:
During his panel, Mignogna announced that a custom Funko POP-inspired figure would be available at the Risembool Rangers store:

Naturally, the KickVic crowd erupted on Twitter, particularly @MarzGurl & @Ron Toye:

After being subjected to bombardment on social media by KickVic, Funko made a response denying that they were making the figure Mignogna presented:

The controversy ended there and there has not been a single mention of the figure since.
The next year, Ultracon invited Mignogna, again, for their convention during the weekend of August 28-29, 2021:
On August 26, 2021, Mignogna tweeted that he would be there as a guest:
Unlike the previous year, nothing of interest came up.
Since Ultracon invited Mignogna for a third time, could the convention become the Florida Man version of Anime Matsuri (without the baggage surrounding the Leighs)? That remains to be seen.

Notable Guests
Aside from Vic Mignogna himself, there are a few of his former Funimation colleagues expected to be there this year (some of which worked with him on the dubs produced by AM Studios):
Cynthia Cranz
John Burgmeier
John Swasey
Linda Young
Stephanie Nadolny
Elise Baughman

Dates & Location
August 27-28, 2022
South Florida Expo Center
West Palm Beach, FL

Feel free to discuss the convention and/or post any pictures or footage from congoers.
@Kridley664 has said they would be there, so there's at least Kiwis on the ground to cover the ongoings.
@Squally will be there, too.

This is his first major appearance since the ruling came down, right?

I suspect lies and smugness. Hopefully any on-scene Kiwis catch any shenanigans.

Understandably, neither Vic nor the Risembool Rangers have made a post in regards to him being at Ultracon.
Perhaps it's a "read the room" moment?

It was not. It was a ‘we kinda forgot because everything has been crazy as heck for the last 14 days’ moment.

Oof! Squally ‘i run all the social media’ here. Ultracon was amazing. Attendance was way up and there was a non stop line from 9:30-6:30. All of the guests made out very well, but as usual vic had the longest line. As is Vics nature, he refused to take any breaks for anything except the restroom, and remained standing the whole time.
We had his mother there as well to help celebrate his birthday.
Sunday was slightly diminished due to a severe thunderstorm but not a major attendance drop.
As of right now, he has arrived home, and eager for his next apperance for the troops in Southern CA

I completely forgot his birthday was that weekend.

Also, here are some fan interactions:

So there are a few things that I can note from UltraCon.
As you can see, there was a captain's chair where you could take pictures with Vic.
@Squally Did the chair come from Neutral Zone Studios?
Linda Young had a pretty good line, too, almost comparable to Vic's.
The other VAs seemed nice, too.
Elise Baughman also had a petition with her: she wants a Pan (from Dragon Ball GT) Funko Pop made (obviously so she could sign it for collectors at conventions).
The convention itself went rather well.
There was only one problem:
The headliner, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash, did not show up.
Nash, who hasn't missed an appearance in 15 years, apparently got food poisoning from bad catering from a film shoot that was done on Thursday and Friday. He still wanted to fulfill his convention appearance and was on the way there, but both he and his wife had to pull over multiple times to vomit. His agent told him to go home and rest.
Nash's line at UltraCon was the longest on Saturday until 2:00 PM when the staff informed everyone that he wouldn't be there.
Which sucks for those who were waiting in line for 4 hours.
On the bright side, Nash seems to have recovered enough to do an episode of his podcast:

The chair is not from NeutralZone but from a Trek Fanclub
Linda was a sweetheart, and most of the other guests were professional this past weekend
